Although I've listed it, I'm not so sure I'd go for it myself. WBA have a tough opening few games, and Villa play very attacking under sherwood. It may be a good option later in the season when we see how teams are getting on. And even then it might more a case of having a WBA defender, with a Villa player as back up for their tough games, rather than out-and-out rotation. I think SUN-NEW is a better option at the start due to Sunderland nice opening fixtures.

Bournmouth - West Ham is my favourite from the opening fixtures. Run of games is:

    GW1: Villa (H)
    GW2: Leicester (H)
    GW3: Bournmouth (H)
    GW4: Leicester (H)
    GW5: Newcastle (H)
    GW6: Sunderland (H)
    GW7: Norwich (H)
    GW8: Watford (H)

Has anyone got a good idea on teams who defensively rotate well?

All the small budget defenders I seem to go for don't rotate well

if i m doing that is probably stretch to cresswell at 5.5.......but i also have Ritchie and sahko at the moment so doubt I will
Liverpool and norwich rotate nicely too......if only ya cud tell whether sahko will start or not

Creswell is overpriced a bit. He won't be on many set pieces with Payet in the team.

don't really like rotating attacking players though and leaving that much money on the bench......... other midfielder at the moment is mulumbu and can't see myself ever starting him on purpose :D

Seeing as you're going with Costa, Rooney, Hazard, Courtois, Darmian which is taking up 44 million from 5 players, I'd suggest dipping into the value players out there rather than splashing out another 8.5 on Mata, 9 on Giroud and Alderweireld for5 when there'd be players out there for less who'd have just as much point potential.

You could then use that money you've saved to flesh out the squad because you won't get far with Ki, Wanyama, Taylor, Baker.

Lots of players there aren't even close to guaranteed starters. My advice would be to read through alot of these threads on here (particularly people giving their insight as to why they've picked them) thoroughly and start again from scratch.

Hey lads and ladies, made this up a few days ago.... any thoughts would be appreciated!.. worried about the lack of Arsenal players going forward but I don't know if I want to change it to accommodate them.

    So my first draft.

Not at all happy with it.

I should say that Caz is there because Sanchez might not start the first couple of games. Walcott there on the basis he starts...

Southampton have an easy first 5 fixtures and I've tried to pick my defenders to rotate well.

I'm midfield heavy at the moment but I always tend to take that approach.

My big worry there is that you look like you're playing a 3-3-3 with no feasible subs for if any of those 9 gets injured. Fryers won't start. Taylor is a huge risk to not start. Wanyama and Gosling aren't really FF players. For me you're gonna have to cheapen Milner to a 5.5/6 and foresake one of Mertesacker or Azpilicueta. Otherwise you've a threadbare squad to begin with and are fairly ****ed if someone gets injured/suspended/dropped/rested.

Or Silva to Yaya/Sterling and upgrade Gosling. I think treble Chelsea is overkill with their fixtures but I'd go Azpi if I had the cash

Generally looks good. Only issue really is that you're not really set up to play any particular formation. With Wanyama as your 5th cheap mid, you're really setting yourself up to play 3-4-3. Can you bank on playing Pelle and Ulloa every week regardless of fixture? I don't know that you can. You've good players in there but I feel you may have a bit of midfield overkill with expensive players who aren't necessarily premium point scorers. I would think that Kane, Benteke or Costa would be more important to have in your team than Cazorla or Fabregas myself.

If you're insistent on going with these guys, then I would recommend downgrading Pelle to a cheaper striker, upgrading Wanyama to a playable midfielder, and finding 3 guys that rotate well so that you'd always be happy to play 2 of the 3, allowing you to rotate between, 3-4-3 and 3-5-2.

    Rooney Giroud Defoe

Like I said to others, going with a cheapie midfielder that you wouldn't trust to play any week, and a cheapie striker that you wouldn't trust to play every week has its dangers. Do you really want to play Defoe in games away to City, Chelsea, United etc? I get that those aren't Sunderland's first fixtures, but start with a structure that you can go on with unless you're wildcarding really early and are sure about that.

You don't need all those expensive defenders so you'd be best downgrading one of them and upgrading Wanyama to a midfielder you can rotate Defoe with to suit fixtures.

Best midfielder for 6m? I know Schneiderlin is there but he doesn't seem like a big FF player...

Ritchie, Jurado, Brady will probably come in around that price too. Lens if you can push it up by 0.5.

Same issue though, really, no? You're either stuck playing Defoe every week or rotating with Wanyama.

Well not really - I can play a defender either.

Your defence isn't really good enough to be playing 4 regularly though is it? It'd be different if you were stocked full of premium defenders from the big clubs. You're not going to be wanting to play your Villa, Bournemouth and Leicester defenders in most of their away games.

Thats more balanced. Beware Yoshida though with Southampton set to sign Caulker. He may take his place.

They rotate well with each other.

I take on board that they aren't all 7.0m defenders.

I've Pelle in the team because Southampton have good fixtures.

If you did do the Costa to Kane thing you could upgrade Anya to Affelay and Ki to Puncheon maybe?

Hutton by no means certain of his place either with that new signing.
