This should be good! 40 for a return flight to any Ryanair destination. Flights to the canaries are usually the more expensive of the trip. I'll be taking advantage!

Exactly. Booking a holiday to the Canaries and going to splash out on the all inclusive due to the savings.

    WHOOP.

Will it only be specific places available tonight? To buy flights

Sounds a bit too good to be true. What's the catch?

Seems legit. Is this to any destination from any airport or only a select few?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,418 ✭✭✭griffdaddy

Depends as to whether or not tax is included if it's a bargain or not

Mmm..I suspect the flights will be the less desirable locations, try getting to the Canaries for €40 over Xmas and see how far you get

Oslo is one although 19.85 is about the price of a coffee when you get there so hardly a bargain destination.

Will this be the usual sale where they offer cheap seats at midday on a Tuesday with blackout periods ruling out the school holidays?

They would hardly have their destinations in Morocco on offer, would they?

These €19.85 fares go on sale on the Ryanair.com website from Wednesday, with a million seats available across our entire network for travel between September and the end of January, which must be booked on the Ryanair.com website by midnight Sunday (12th July).”

quote from website i linked to, so to answer your question ....its hard to know with ryan air

    Na you're alright.

I wouldn't think Ryanair would sell one million tickets in the space of four days?

This will be interesting to see how many decent flight days and times are on offer, I suspect a lot of midweek ones to UK to be offered but I hope it's a lot better! Fingers on the buzzers.....

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,670 ✭✭✭quadrifoglio verde

tempted on taking a punt on a cheap flight to greece

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,905 ✭✭✭grimm2005

Might try hit up Krakow myself. They already offer flights to UK for €10 - 20 a seat all year so obviously that's not what they're talking about. I'd say it's just gonna be pot luck as to where they're offering and what dates as it's across the entire network but can't see them offering a pile of the sun holiday destinations for cheap, if any. I'm gonna go out on a limb and say a large chunk will be from Stansted anyway. Not long to find out now...
