Weird foot problem

It is hard to articulate this problem but here goes...

I have had a strange problem with my left foot for a good few weeks now in that I wake up and it is sore to walk on it/put pressure on it but as the morning goes on, it loosens up and I can then walk. However, at all times throughout the day if I rotate my foot around in certain ways I can feel pain so this removes the possibility of it being just "stiff" in the morning.

Also, if I was to lift up my leg and let my foot hang loosely, if I shake my foot I get little jolts of pain and this is the same if a walk without stiffening my foot, i.e if I walk with my foot loose there is pain.

I went to the doctor, he felt my foot said there wasn't any obvious broken bones and said all my symptoms "were a little vague" and don't point to anything specific. I have an X-ray in a few weeks but has anyone come across this before?

I can't kick a ball at all - even a light kids one, but I can run a few kms without pain....like I said, very weird and only seems to surface in very specific scenarios

This is all with my left foot only, my right foot is perfectly fine.

In my professional opinion it's probably foot cancer.

In my professional opinion it's probably foot cancer.

I think it's more likely to be foot aids.

Should probably go to the doctor.

Went to doctor - wasn't much help to be honest. Getting an xray in a few weeks....just in the meantime i want to start filling my head with every possible thing i could be :)

Who knows, somewhere along the line, someone might actually have come across this themselves - although I am very confident that most people will say its foot cancer\foot aids\etc..
