    Hi Guys,

Could somebody tell me what accounts charge (approx) to file end of year tax returns etc?

My husband works as a sole trader and I doing the general day to day book-keeping including file vat returns via ROS. I get help from a family member who is a qualified accountant to file the yearly income tax returns at the moment. However, I finding it harder to make the time to prepare the yearly figures etc as I'm now working full time myself. Hence why I'm thinking of seeking the help of an accountant.

    Hi Modmo,

There's no set fee as such, it's usually goes on the size of the business, turnover and number of hours needed to complete the work. Most accountants will agree a fee upfront once they get an idea of your business and most firms offer a free consultation visit where you can discuss fees with them.

Have a look online for a local accountant or firm and see if they can offer you a free consultation visit.
