    Strava
    Map my run
    Run keeper

All pretty similar. N very accurate for a free app. I liked the strava myself.

thanks for that, I had runkeeper and runtastic and found both to be inaccurate at the best of times.
    will research the strava.

The choice of app is going to be mostly irrelevant to accuracy levels. GPS accuracy is going to be down to the chip in the phone

Boardsie Enhancement Suite - a browser extension to make using Boards on desktop a better experience (includes full-width display, keyboard shortcuts, dark mode, and more). Now available through your browser's extension store.

+1 when I was using phone to keep records I used RunKeeper (started with free and then moved to full which gives you only some stats etc.) and was satisfied. Obviously, probably most watches will give you better and more accurate numbers but if you don't need to much details this should be more than good enough.
