    Guys ,

I am looking for a good physio in dublin city centre that can help me with an on going postural /alignment problem i have had for sometime.

I kind of started with patellar pain around 2 year and then getting an inner ear balance problem for a while which is near to resolving itself. To make a long story short the ordeal has left me with stronger hips glute but weaker shoulders neck/traps on my left side and the other way round on me right side and also foward head posture ( which i am fearing is actually pretty bad). There could be tightness right side of my jaw involved too. I have very little pain just generally discomfort and feeling of being crooked. Been doing pilates and yoga too which is good but its obvious after a few months of doing its not going to address the issue directly.

I have been into physio anytime things have become very dehabilitating and actually painful but have not stuck with it. My experience with physios have been a bit frustrating mostly just that feeling of not getting you moneys worth, but then my lack of patience has been an issue too.

I am kind of thinking if there's such thing as someone who doubled as a physio/personnal trainer to keep me on top of things could be a really good idea.

    Any suggestions?

Sports Physio Ireland: http://sportsphysioireland.com/ - they're in Dublin 2 (used to be called Functional Training Ireland).

All the personal trainers there are also qualified physios.

I had a knee problem about 6 or 7 weeks ago, and I had two sessions with trainer/physio Riain where he assessed me and he gave me exercises to do, and advice on strengthening my core and upper leg muscles.
I am back running with no knee pain at all, the relief I feel is incredible.

(I have no involvement with Sports Physio Ireland other than being a very happy client).

I've taken up yoga too since, two days a week. I find it very centring, and it makes a nice change from running.

Ya they look really good , but only reservation is they seemed to be geared toward running/sports injuries ( probably in the wrong forum). This is a much an issue with everyday functioning now, my neck in particular. But suppose they would be as good as any.

If Orla Magorrian is still there (Functional Training / Sportsphysio Ireland) then I would highly recommend her. She helped me a lot with a similar issue to you.

If the other physios are of the same standard as her then you're in safe hands.
