    Hi

I'm not sure if I should post this here or in fitness so feel free to move it mods. I want to join a gym, I've never set foot in one before so can anyone recommend me one in Mayo preferably Ballina.

Also what is the cost roughly?

    Thank you in advance:)

The public gym beside the swimming pool is pretty good. You can pay per use. Actually as gyms go in Ballina is probably the best.

Downhill inn/now called double tree is ok, but the machines are old.
Ramada/Hotel Ballina the machines a pretty bad, but the pool is nice.
There is a gym above super value, but it does not have great changing facilities. Enniscrone is not far and there is a gym in water point.

Sadly there is not a great selection, but Ballina sports centre is probably the best and has the best equipment.
