Problem with eating breakfast

I absolutely hate eating breakfast in the morning. I only start getting hungry one - two hours after I wake up but I have to eat something before I go to work. It feels like I'm forcing it down my throat.
I ate weetabix for about 2 years each morning and then got completely sick of them. I wouldn't be able to stomach them now. I eat porridge now but find myself more and more heading for the cheerios in the press which my sister buys. I enjoy the cheerios more.

I realise that eating processed cereals is bad for you so I want to go back on the porridge (I actually enjoy porridge on the weekend when I dont have to eat at a certain time). Is there any way of making the porridge more enjoyable? Ive tried jam and honey but sick of that too.
Also even when I eat a big bowl of porridge I find myself starving by 10 o'clock. With Cherrios I feel more full until around 11.
Is there a way to combat my two dilemas?

    1) You don't have to eat breakfast for the sake of it. Eat when you're hungry.
    2) Your choices don't have to be cereal or porridge. Choose eggs. Choose bacon. Choose a job. Choose a career. Choose a family. Choose a fu**ing big television. Choose washing machines, cars, compact disc players and electrical tin openers... Choose DSY and wondering who the fu*k you are on a Sunday morning.

I eat porridge with honey at home then I eat half a fruit salad (LIDL do them) when I get to work. That keeps me til lunchtime.

I suppose you were on the right track until you lost the plot altogether...

I can't eat at that hour of the morning either (on less I'm on the way home:))
My solution is I don't eat at that hour of the morning - I wait a few hours until I feel hungry.

    Porridge scones.

Bring them to work with you and eat when you're hungry.

Could you skip breakfast at home, go to work a little earlier and eat something at work?

I changed from one big breakfast at 7am to 2 or 3 small breakfasts throughout the morning. By lunch time I'm not famished and I tend to choose a smaller, healthier lunch then.

I use nuts, seeds and dried fruit to make porridge more interesting. I change it up by grabbing a handful of something different each day.
Chop up a banana and throw it in. Or any fruit really.

Make some home made granola. You can make it a hell of a lot healthier than processed stuff you buy in the shops. I make it in large batches then have it for the month.

Yeah I'm trying to eat properly due to playing hurling and following a gym program. Yeah I think bringing it to work is my best option.

I stopped eating first thing for the sake of it a while back. I have something maybe at 9.30 or so and then have a 'breakfast' somewhere around 11 - 11.30

And like I said, there's no need to restrict yourself to cereals. I wouldn't be a fan of porridge in warm weather so I have greek yoghurt or something cool. But I've had boiled eggs (boiled the night before) or...well, anything. The world is your breakfast buffet!

Whiskey, honey and cinnamon. Dynamite porridge!

When I don't feel like grain-based stuff, scrambled eggs with some tinned salmon and spinach is a good start.

Try not to eat before you go to sleep, it should work for you in the morning :)
