Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Probably wise, you wouldn't want to end up way way too dry. Do you know what it's like to be way way too dry? Well you don't wanna know and i don't know.

I can't wait for this game

    Those trophies sound gas! :pac:

Is anyone buying it from the US PSN store? They are selling it for 60 dollars with Stick of Truth as a bonus download. PCgamesupply are silling 60 dollar PSN credit for 51.08 euro.

As much as I'd prefer to have it in physical, 50 quid for 2 games is quite good compared to Gamestop Ireland selling them for 75.

Did you get instant access to Stick of truth? No online so wouldn't have to worry about any issues there?

One last thing, the small print says TSOT is 1 download per purchase, per user. Did you have to play it with your CA account or just buy it with CA and then download/install with your IE account?

I only needed to download it once from my Canadian account. I then played it on my IE account.

It was the only game I ever pre ordered purely for the free Stick of Truth. I got it on the Canadian store. Seems like an age ago now so good to see it's almost here.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 14,309 ✭✭✭✭wotzgoingon

Have some not played S of T. I'm not too bothered about getting it as I already have it and I would also recommend you play if you never did as it is so funny.

I played it on PS3, rented it from Xtravision :pac: for 3 nights. Really enjoyed it but didn't want to give XV another 10 to finish it. I got to the gnomes which was ****ing hilarious. Not sure how much was left in the game.

    Yea that
    sex scene

    is funny as well.

Ah bollox, my plan is out the window a bit. US store is adding 6 dollars tax onto my purchase which means I'd have to buy 70$ credit which brings me to 60 euro.

Canada PSN it costs 80 dollars but can only buy 50's and 20's on pcgamesupply.

Argos will be selling this for 60 quid on launch so it's a case of physical to trade later or stuck with digital but get TSOT as well hhmmm.....

What state did you set up your US psn account for. Some states don't charge tax on digital content. If you went Canadian it works out at €54.50 by getting 4 $20 codes from pcgamesupply

Well a big thanks to Mr. McLovin.

TSOT currently downloading and TFBW on preorder, all for 55 quid. I got a class Butters avatar but looks like I can't download it and can only use it on my Canada account.

Also, Ubisoft are looking for YOU to be in the game by submitting your best farts.....yupp.

Finished the SoT and it was absolutely brilliant, start to finish. All side quests done, over 100 friends made. I thought it might burn me out for For TFBW but was well worth playing through. It kept surprising me all the way with the stories and characters, I just hope they have done fresh stuff for the new one. The abortion clinic was ****ed up!

Then my OH walked in near the end where the old guy gets naked and starts dancing around. "WTF is going on there?".... Believe me, you really don't wanna know.

It was a good game with funny bits. Then also putting Canada as 16 bit or 8 bit(which ever it was). I found it really difficult when I was on the space ship. I had ran out of potions or food. But I just dropped the difficulty and then put it back up once I was back in South Park.

I've just pre-ordered it on Game Collection.

Dont know if they have the Stick of Truth included in it but if it is, I might play through that first. I only played about 10/15mins of it when it came out at a mates house and never got around to buying it then.

Same here. I'd preordered it way back when but the preorder was cancelled due to the game being delayed, so rebought it today so it's ready to go for Tuesday. Really looking forward to it, the latest episode of South Park sets up the story of the game too.

I never bothered pre-ordering as I will be in America for the launch. I will pick it up eventually. I was really late playing TSOT so I may wait till it is reduced in price ALTHOUGH if I start hearing people raving about it I will more than likely pick it up once I return from America.

My copy downloaded as well today, 20gbs which is 4 times the size of the first game. Watched the prequel episode and sets up the game really nice. Also the way Zucherberg said Shtyle made me laugh. I didn't know Cartman had a gf though and realised I'm only up to midway through season 18. Gotta binge before the game is out.

Season 19 is beyond fantastic. 20 is a bit rougher because they had to focus so much on Trump stuff, but still some great episodes. But yeah, I'd expect a lot of references from the last few seasons in the game.

The Polygon review should be largely disregarded. If you read it, the author confesses to not being a fan of South Park in the first place and argues that if the creator's had a more mature sense of humour, it would make for a better game.

I get the point on trying to remain as unbiased as possible, but the decision to choose someone who doesn't like South Park to review the game would be like asking a Green Peace advocate to review Forza or Gran Turismo.
