Opinions on ZMA?

Been looking at possibly introducing a ZMA supplement into my diet as I find it difficult to fit in a full 8 hours sleep every night. But there seems to be a huge amount of conflicting information both on opinion pieces and on genuine studies done. Has anyone here used ZMA as part of their diet and if so what are their opinions on it? Does a good multivitamin more or less cover the same thing?

Tried it , noticed no difference . Best thing to do is to stop looking at screens before you go to bed and spend the time instead reading a book.

I have tried a cheaper equivalent and had a couple of good solid nights of sleep. Then I had as many nights of usual broken sleep.

I came to the conclusion that it it was a coincidence that my goood nights' sleep coincided with it or that there was a degree of a placebo effect that doesn't last forever.

    Any noticeable strength gains?

    Nope.

But I didn't expect any. The only studies that have claimed it resulted in strength gains was funded by the company that registered ZMA as a trademark.

Very vivid dreams for me !, I mean some crazy stuff, other than that in terms of improved sleep quality it didn't work great for me.

I must of built up a tollerance to it too. When I first started taking zma I use to get a bit light headed and groggy a few minutes after taking it, that wore off pretty fast though.
