    That was a fantastic performance from Hutchie but impressive times from the top five and Hickman did really well to finish in the top five. I think that by spending all week on the Stocker he had a bit of an advantage today but that's not to detract from him one bit. Great to see General Lee get onto the rostrum and break into the 130 club too!

    Went onto the grid before today's race so here's a few pics from there. I've left the island now so I think that full on post TT blues will start soon!

    Impressive! Every time I went to the TT I was always impressed by the sheer speed and sound of the bikes as they passed. It used to be particularly impressive during the early morning practice sessions at 5am (I was a marshal in the late eighties), you could hear the bikes coming from miles away. The rotary Nortons of Trevor Nation and Robert Dunlop were especially pleasing to hear on full noise.
    That Kawasaki sounds wonderful, as does the current MV supersport (the "Italian national anthem" according to Roy Moore).
    I'll never grow tired of road racing.
