There is a long odds on shot 4/11,Ornate in the 6 45 at Wolver tonight who must be well regarded and may well win. However I took a chance today and backed Quatrieme Ami at 7/2 ew,Quatrieme broke the 2 year old track record at Wolver a few weeks ago and if he bounces out in this 5 furlong contest he just be too quick for the fav.

As this is a qualifier for automatic entry to the lucrative good Friday aw meeting at Lingfield his small trainer is sure to have him well tuned for this.11/4 now so someone must give it a chance.

Nice one Zim. In a pub beside two bookies so did it in both for the craic.

Glad someone got a few bob out of it,would have been easier if he hadn't fluffed the start a bit.

The 7/2 available earlier today looks very good now for the track record holder.
Philip McBride a very small trainer if the horse was trained by one of the top yards he would have started fav, enjoy the few beers I will be heading to my local club for a few later.

I won a good few quid today and my punting was over for the day until a friend reminded me that in apr 2014 we were tipped L'amiral David by a guy in the yard who was shrewd enough.

The horse was well backed, wound up joint fav and was well beaten,we were told to back the horse again in apr 2015 and he was a beaten fav once more.
Those were hurdle races a novice and a handicap.
The horse now runs in an all weather all aged maiden tonight at 9 15 and his last run was only ok in a 1 1/2 maiden but because I was reminded about the nag and he is still in the same stable,Alan Kings who would hardly hold on to him if he was a hopeless case. I am going to have a tiny bet on the beast (€5 ew) at 20s in case he decides to put his head in front.

Hunters Belt looks the best bet on the Kelso card today, runs in the 1 05 and at first glance might not catch the eye as he is now an 11 year old and there are some promising young runners in the race.

This is one of a series of qualifiers for a final to be run later in the season and some of todays lot may just trying to qualify and may not be fully wound up for today's race. A few of these have been off for a while and will come on for the run.

Hunters Belt is fit,has had a recent run,his best for a while, and is 10lbs lower than his his last win early this year.He is sure to be doing his best and at his age he will not be held back for any other target.

Well handicapped, goes on any ground, fit from a recent run and a decent price (4/1)means we can have a good ew bet on this horse as he ticks most of the boxes.

Cusheen Bridge 8/1 1 25 Huntingdon is my only other bet today.

Not well handicapped is on his highest mark today but having won 5 of 16 races one could say he could improve again.

Today's trip could be considered a bit short for him and he does run the odd poor race but the ground riding a bit soft will put the emphasis on stamina and the price offers a bit of ew value.

I would not be having the house on but it is worth a modest ew bet and the Pogsons always seem to do their best with their horses.

I'm going to be greedy & double down on blowbyblow in the punchestown. Jett is closely related to very good jezski and while on the trainers home track and been supported this am, he has been beaten a couple of times when fancied so I'm taking him on.

Tamlough Boy for myself got at 9/1 done e/w of course.

I knew I remembered reading up about Jett from somewere.
Was going to go heavy on him but got the shakes hahaha

    Mullins horse looks nice

Jack dillinger is also a danger in this race in my opinion I think hes abit over priced

Edit: Going to do Cardinal Rose in the last race at huntington. 11/2

wow it won, was expecting a place.

Thought mullins horse had it near the end but I guess Nina Carbarry just whipped the horse abit more haha

Jack dillinger is one for taking note of though for next time, he ran a decent race and held up well again the odds on favs I think.

    Great ride by Nina

No great harm done today as I got my own back on my main bet even though he had be rousted after a furlong and seemed a bit mulish for a while before he decided to run on.

Tamlough impressive and was some price on betfair a furlong out I would say, good luck to those who were on.
Lingfield might be the meeting tomorrow as PP giving money back as a free bet if 2nd to the fav online at least whatever about the shops.
I fancy Godolphin to have an across the card double in the 2oc Ling Superkid 15/8 and 2 10 Chelm with Dismantle (I backed it ew at 4s a couple of hours ago now 3s)
