While I like Cena for what he is, that serious shtick he does when he's 'annoyed' comes across as phony. That whole "I'm beyond shouting" thing is and always has been cringeworthy.

Well I'm glad we get another match between Dean Ambrose & Seth Rollins now. I think Ambrose is pretty good in these gimmick matches and the two of them seem to have great chemistry together. I'd actually love if Roman Reigns was beaten here though and just wasn't in the Money In The Bank match, but there's zero chance of that happening I'd say.

Sad how crap Barrett has become. They took away the things that got him over. That elevated platform with the gavel and Bad News schtick was great. He's just a nobody now tbh. And this 'King' business is brutal.

The sooner 2016 comes and they have another one of those tournaments the better, I think! Wouldn't it be funny if instead of Prince Devitt, we had King Balor? Barrett should be higher.

I've no problem with that kind of thing usually. I just don't like when the average fan (i.e, people who probably don't read into things as much as the likes of us) might not get everything that's being talked about. However, in this angle I don't think that's happening really.

Wasn't overly fond of this show, particularly after a string of (imo) good Raws, and as a follow up to a good PPV.

The rocket seems to be back up the ass of Reigns; beating the three guys single-handedly did little for me. Ambrose's omission from all of the show, bar a cameo at the end, was frustrating, as was getting Reigns to get the ladder match on behalf of Ambrose.

I never like promos where the good guy just berates the bad guy for 10 minutes while the bad guy just stands watching and doing nothing, let alone when it ends with the bad guy running away. Thats not how arguments work in real life at all. So seeing Owens just standing like a child being scolded by the principal also frustrated me no end.

The Bella twins seem to be undergoing another turn. Big Show vs Ryback bores me, and the match only highlighted how far Miz has fallen again; that both he and Sandow are basically jobbers again now is shocking after the great work the two did pre-Mania.

Overall, thought it was a pretty bad Raw

If I was a proper ref in the wwe, I'd be watching out for Twin Magic in a Bella match. Especially now it should be more obvious from the fact Nikki is not only bigger, but is blonder and even their ring gear was different with Nikki's being more sparkly.

Overall a very meh Raw.

Just watching raw now and that was a hell of a punch from Big Show to The Miz, as Rock used to say, if the punch dont get ya, the wind behind it will, well the wind certainly got Miz there.

I didn't think it would be possible to have a worse King of the Ring than King Sheamus, but step forward King Barrett. It's quite extraordinary how badly they are squandering his potential. Big Show, on the other hand, of course has to be presented as a star. Ugh.

Pretty run-of-the-mill show overall. I liked the Owens/Cena confrontation. Pity about Rusev's injury too. I feel Lana is in a bit of Limbo now. I don't like her being paired with Dolph at all.

Reigns seems to be getting more comfortable in the spotlight also. I was surprised he got such a strong reaction at the start. Ambrose did his role well too.

Nothing much else really stood out to me.

The Bellas were supposedly faces last week but were Heels this week. Then again we never got the "I wish you had died in the womb" Battle of The Bellas feud from last Fall. I love how WWE going with "Give Divas a chance" theme, but clearly don't care enough about them to book them consistently. If they don't care then why should the fans?

Ive stopped watching for a while and then kinda started watching the last couple of weeks.... mainly cos of owens moving up! Here is my two cents worth

WWE writers get a good idea and bleed it to death.... Cena and Owens is gold - but to have them on raw talking every week gets stale and boring - would it not have been better having Cena have his open challenge again.... do his thing and then call out Owens - Owens come on the tron and say what do i need to prove to you.... and then Cena goes into his NEVER GIVE UP spiel....

Really disappointed by Rusev's new angle - should have said that he broke his ankle - had to be surgically repaired and for it to come out that there is metal pins/plates etc when he starts finishing on his superkick (a la Luger) think that could be a great heel storyline for Rusev....

Right I hate Roman Reigns..... Not cos i think he is crap.... not the man himself.... but the character that wwe are writing.... 3 matches for his spot.... notice that no1 elses spot was up for grabs.... they let him get beaten up for 8 mins - has a 2 min offense and pin - Reigns wins - bored! They are still trying to push reigns so much - i would be unbelievably surprised if reigns doesnt win mitb this year!! The best that reigns comes across is when he is an inforcer - helper - friend to ambrose - imho!

The Divas need an injection of fresh faces.... and if the current Diva's think that they are good enough.... have an invasion of Becky, Sasha, Bailey & Charlotte against Bellas, Paige & Naomi etc - i think that will show wwe how crap everyone is on the current roster and weed out the bad ones....

Big show just needs to go.... if this is his final run or whatever thats ok but seriously he is a vacuum - you cant get any heat off the guy - good or bad!! His in ring is rubbish - he should call it a day..... (please include Mark Henry in this piece). Im not against big guys - i just think that there has to be big young guys that have a higher ceiling than what show has!

Why did WWE feel the need to change a gimmick that was working and gaining heat.... King Barrett - its actually killed him! BNB was a great gimmick and he was getting crowd reactions - I was all for bringing back the KOTR but for barrett to win it has ruined everything... i find him boring now too

What would anyone else do with Lana - the writers are in a tough place right now... shes over - crowd chants for her - but who do you put her with - storyline etc? I love Ziggler - any attention that they give him im excited by but he really doesnt need a valet... unless they want to go face 'Edge/Lita' but cant imagine they would do that.... so its hard to know what to do with her.

Lastly.... i do think that looking at the Talent on NXT at the moment they could be close enough to do an invasion/radicals storyline.... if they take Owens beating Cena last week - getting DQ'ed against Cena and then coming out on Raw and saying i could dominate anyone etc.... have a couple of guys come out.... Cena, Ziggler, Ryback, Usos and then have Owens, Balor, Joe, Enzo & Cass - Nxt still have enough talent left there whilst the RAW roster would be seriously improved!

I was sick yesterday and obviously had too much time on my hands haha

Owens has already said that he has his own championship and placed it above Cena's. Sure he stood on the belt twice!

I hope Becky, Sasha et al don't go near the main roster any time soon; the problem isn't the roster they have on the main show (not saying it's great, mind, but it's not bad). Its that the writers can't be bothered at all to deal with the divas division.

Random turns, infinite repeat of matches, the lack of time devoted to them, the overt sexualisation of every. single. diva. Those aren't problems that can be fixed with an injection of new faces. If Sasha or Bailey got called up, they'd still have the exact same problems that exist now to face.

this is probably true - and moving becky, sasha, bailey up might just be a drop in the ocean of what actually needs to be addressed!

One thing i would put on the existing roster on raw is none of them seem to be able to have a story in a match - this could be down to time restrictions but i dunno - just never seem to hold my attention - even from a pure wrestling/match standpoint!! Like whilst i understand Becky and Sasha was about 20 mins - it was a match by the end you were just stuck to it and had to know who won....

Hard to see that done on raw at the moment
