Got up to only 13C approx here near Tralee today even with the strong sunshine at times. Persistent fresh WSW wind making it feel very cool in exposed places. A few bits of showers with just 0.6mm measured.

Cool but dry as the saying goes.....Clear blue skies in Castlebar but cool for June 8th, currently 11.7 degrees in a light northerly breeze.1039 and steady. its nice to have some settled weather .....

Northerly breeze all day making the shaded areas a bit chilly.

Locally see top readings of 17C/ 16C, got the new sensor installed this evening reading 9.7C

Lovely Sunshine here in the SW , Urban dwellers would be well advised to pack the windcheaters if coming to the Seaside though , there is a stiff NE wind which can cut to the bone , it pains Me to see small children down by the seafront in their bathing gear oblivious to the cutting breeze , Parents wondering next week where the chest infections , coughs and sneezes came from !!
