Absolutely fantastic deal, you can add Witcher 3 under the special offers section for no additional charge. This is not available for Home delivery and available in-store for collection only. Considering the PS4 is 399.99 euros everywhere else, this is a steal!

    Offer expires: June 2nd

Witcher 3 is currently OOS, although the console for 329.99 euros is still a fantastic price!

I apologise, just checked this. Hopefully they will get more stock in, there were two copies available in Killarney today. The console for 329.99 is still very good.

Yes, in Argos. It's a special offer that you have to select to find it.

For 349.99 euros that's a bargain, although currently on the website it's 369.99 with Witcher 3 and Bloodborne.

Just managed to reserve PS4, Witcher and Bloodborne in Tallaght for 349.99.

I had a witcher and ps4 reserved until end of day , but as someone posted although the ps4, witcher and bloodborne is listed for 369.99 but shows up 349 in reservation, so decided to wait until end of day and reserve the whole bundle together.

Picking it up in the morning.

    Delighted!!!

You can reserve it and pick up the PS4 and just get The Witcher when it comes in stock.

I did that at Xmas when they didn't have one of the games in my package.

I tried reserving it online but it only allows me two reserve the items in stock and witcher 3 doesnt appear on the reservation

I got my console on Friday and going to collect Witcher 3 in Swords today reserved it yesterday. Just wondering I haven't play the PS in a long time. The Whitcher has great reviews, would it be a difficult game for someone just starting out again?

I got this deal on Friday and yeah the game is pretty unforgiving. Even on lower difficulty you can get killed in about 10 seconds if you're not careful.

Depends how long its been since you played and what you used to play.

It is pretty tough with a lot going on! There is a lot of talking in it too so give yourself some time!

The witcher 3 can now be ordered in (for Galway anyway)

The deal PS4 + Witcher + Bloodborne can still be got for €349.

Just reserved it there for Galway

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 48 kajzer

I posted this yesterday in another thread but didn't see this one. So the deal is, this looks very good but in Cork City they only have either PS4 and Bloodborne and no Witcher or just PS4. Are they going to restock or what's the story with Witcher? Witcher is supposed to be a good game and on this deal you're saving over 100 euro

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,720 ✭✭✭branners69

Witcher 3 is the issue, you cant reserve it (and therefore the deal) if it is out of stock. Just keep checking Argos to see if it is in stock or available for order.

I was F5'ing all day on Friday until one turned up in the Ilac Centre!

Will they magically appear to be in stock? I mean they'd need to restock but then that would be more than one copy? GTA V bundle also looks good but they're nowhere in Cork, same with any Xbox One deals.

Finally got a copy, just reserve a copy and head to that store with your receipt of buying the PS4 they will check the deals and if all okay then you get the game that comes with the deal.

Is it black ps4 only? It doesnt say in the listing whether its black or white, though the picture is black but maybe you can ask for a white one, anyone tried?

White is also available but for an extra 20 euros, costing 349.99 euros with witcher 3. Although if you're planning on buying the white one, i'd recommend getting the deal for 369.99 euros, which is the PS4 White with bloodborne and Witcher 3. Bloodborne effectively costing 20 euros!

But when you reserve the PS4, if the game is not in stock it is not part of the reservation and doesn't show up on the order either (I've reserved a system with no game today). Reckon I'll give the store a call to see what they will do. Cheers.

My young lad got a ps4 out of his communion money yesterday. He wouldn't wait for witcher to come back in stock. The game wouldn't suit him anyway but it would be good for a trade in. Are you saying I could go back with the receipt (when back in stock) and get the game?

Yes provided the console you have bought is linked with a special offer they will/should give you the game, once you be polite about it.

    1. Reserve the item
    2. Ring the store to confirm your intentions
    3. To into store, customer services
    4. With receipt explain, you bought console game was not in stock and where advised to come back to collect when in stock

Side note I know the game is 18+ but I didn't think it would suit me but its a very good game!

Yes, you can once it was part of the package you bought.

You could trade it on the Playstation forum here or at a CEX store.

From Their FAQ's "If an item you've reserved is on special offer on the day you collect it in store, this special offer should be offered to you by our in-store personnel when you pay for your items"

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,318 ✭✭✭dan786

Have a code for PS4, Witcher 3 and Bloodborne for 369.99. PM me if someone wants it as I cant collect tomorrow. Nutgrove branch.

Picked up this deal today, even tough the witcher is out of stock. They printed on the receipt that I can pick up the witcher when it comes back in. Great deal IMO, cheers OP.

Anybody notice some frame drops on bloodborne?

Did you just go in and order it?

I just noticed I can't reserve online if one item is missing (at least not at the correct price!)

Don't worry about reserving it. Adding it will cost €0 if it was in stock. They will know this in store and should do with you as the previous poster and just mark the receipt allowing you a free copy when it does come back into stock.

Yup, went to the customer service desk and told them i couldn't reserve it, the woman put it through the system and it worked with no hassle! Just waiting for a copy of the witcher to come in now!

What happens if they are never in stock again though?

I mean, I guess Argos (unlike a game shop) will only restock a game so many times.

Are they reserving you a copy for the enxt time it comes in or do you have to keep checking?

Nope, she said it will be back in stock in the next week or 2. The witcher is only a new release so will definitely be back in stock. Got a 10 euro voucher btw...
