Anyone watch the post fight press conference?

Ryan Bader and DC almost go at it. Bader escorted out by security.

DC insisting he is the LHW champ. Don't know where he got that idea.
video here, Comier talking trash :pac: funny bit at the end too with Scholler

My God what a fantastic main card! Was beaming when Vitor bust open Wiedman and Rumble knocked down DC. I'm a big Bader fan (not sure why :D ) but even i don't want to see that title fight, waste of time.

    Lot of Cormier love here.

Used to think he was ok but think he's a douchebag now.
Rumble completely gassed after the first which is pathetic, did he really put all his eggs in the knock out DC in the first round basket. Cormier took some good shots in the first and has a hell of a chin on him though.

He executed his gameplan but I find him boring to watch the majority of the time.
His comment after the fight was stupid when Jones destroyed him. I'm no major Jones fan but I hope he comes back and mangles Cormier to get his title back.

Weidman was very impressive but no doubt people will continue to knock him saying Vitor was a pushover off the gear.

Uriah Hall was so disappointing. He really is going to be the main guy we all cite in years to come when asked what fighter never fulfilled their potential.

I wish Gus had fought Glover because I'd like to see him against DC, it'd be more competitive (but probably less exciting) than last nights main event. I can't see them giving him a shot after the Rumble loss so he needs to fight soon.

Can't wait for Jones to come back now

Jones-DC 2 doesn't excite me much. I can see it being like the first, a lot of hype but an average fight. Can't see DC winning unless Jones is rusty. I'm also finding DC very annoying right now and I used to be a big fan of his. He's a tough SOB though.

Love it when Cormier says to Sholler "Jones kicked your ass in the MGM Grand" and Sholler replies with "that wasn't me, that was John Anik."

Brief glimpse of the the UFC as it was years ago. Best card in a while and delighted for AA, thought vitor had fight won

Main card fights were great. Prelims were a bit meh.

Arlovski and Browne was amazing. I wish it had continued. Absolutely incredible round of fighting. Thought we were going to have a Pat Barry/Cheick Kongo style comeback from Browne towards the end.

    Cerrone is still a beast.

Weidman looked great. Looked to be in big trouble for a little while but rallied well. Great ground and pound.

Cormier was excellent. Solid game plan. Really stifled Johnson who, bar a few shots early on, was made to look average.

Cormier's post fight "interview" was great. :pac:

Weidman has a great chin, I got worried for him for a second but then I remembered that things made of iron. Vitor landed some good stuff but I don't think Weidman was in any trouble.

If Bader gets the next shot I'll go mad.

Just watched the whole card, delighted for AA!! as a side note, when I think of a 36 year old 240lb fighter, AA is the phsyique I imagine, he's not ripped but still in good shape. Doubt many will ever accuse him of being on the juice based on physique

His juice was his long hair. It took him years to finally recover from that hair cut. But thankfully he's back now

Looked at this thread after watching the fights yesterday morning 3 had DC win by sub now up to 6? Lol.

Heavyweight fight was awesome near shat myself when Browne clocked Arlovski. Was thinking he was going to do a Reem.

Makdessi (sp) Cowboy was good, thought cowboy was getting caught to easy but I'll put it down to makdessi just being tough cnut and staying in front of him, took some shots and his jaw paid the price, ouch.

Ryan bader, Yawnnn. him and Brendan shaub need to shut the **** up and go back to being jocks!! bader is a juiced up overhand throwing, try to get lucky but get's countered MORON!! I see all the more exciting fights these days coming from guys who've actually done some form of martial arts, not EX wrestlers who learn fundamental boxing. Yes that can have its place and is effective to an extent but that flat footed back forth style lacks invention and creates a great Journeyman!!! that's all these lads are.. Martial arts is the reason Mcgregor, Jones and Silva are so great to watch. Just like barbossa, barao, aldo, and a younger Machida I suppose. I love to see the likes of Cerone throwing switch kicks followed by elbows.

That's why I loved Silva, winning fights by Knees, chokes, triangles and I nearly fell off me chair when he front kicked Belforts teeth into another division almost!!

The cormier fight was always gonna be a grind but if Johnson had the stand up advantage, why would you trade blows. Cormier figured him out and dragged him into deep water, he literally breathed heavy like he was drowning!! superb to watch. Johnson left his heart in his corner going into round 3.

On a different note, when he clocked Cormier, did anyone get a deja vous??? Dos santos V cain Mark 1????

Finally got to watch this yesterday. My god what a main card that was!

Vitor had me on the edge of my seat with that flurry but Weidman took it like a champ and did his thing.

Johnson also had me screaming when he sent DC flying with that first punch. But again DC showed a great chin and champion spirit to take it and come back to finish.
No way anyone wants to see him destroy Bader. Although thinking of the division who else is there? Gus and Glover is all that springs to mind.

I think Weidman v Rockhold would be some fight those two are beasts.

I want Gus to get the next shot and I'd fancy his changes. He matches up better with DC than Rumble.
