Boards AR League pin is 1482202

Only first 100 entrants accepted :pac:

    I've entered.

I have no confidence in my team.

But they don't know that so, hopefully, it won't affect them.

Fair play to the Track Fairies on Tour team who put national pride before their own points total in the men's 400h!

I probably should have avoided the women's 110h for tactical reasons - it really is stacked.

:D seen that alright, you never know!

I'm feeling confident in my bunch. They're young but talented. Aman and Vesely are the only ones I'm having second thoughts about.

Can't wait now! It really is a savage card.

Well, egg on my face there! Great run from Barr.

Track Fairies on Tour get 17 points from that race for 2nd AND 3rd!

Pearse AC get 15 for the winner.

I get none, because the guy I had in that race couldn't even be arsed to turn up.

Ah balls! Aregawi and Aman leaving me down badly.

    What time did Barr run?

    That 800 was fierce!

I don't think Aman was expecting them to go out at that pace - clever race by Souleiman.

    WOW!!!!! Unbelievable jump by Pichardo

    WOW!!!!! Unbelievable jump by Pichardo

And a great response by Taylor!

3rd & joint-4th longest jumps of all time.

Some great performances in there. Over to Shanghai!

Kiprop asked for that pace, so they all knew.

Gatlin reminds me more of Johnson each day

Surely you're not so cynical so as to believe a cleaner and older guy can't run faster then his younger and doped up self could ever do?

Did not get to see it live but happy with captain Pichardo !

Gatlin  and Perkovic :) did the business too.

Let down by Mo, Mo, Sofia, Sifan.

    That's me.

Tom is very consistent when he's in good shape, I was confident he'd have a good race so it wasn't just a case of national pride. A mixed bag overall though; I had four second-placers. Aman and Aregawi really screwed me over, but Gatlin, much and all as I loathe the man, was my saviour. Over the past year and a bit he's been an absolute beast on the track.

A slow start to the night but picked up nicely.

That triple jump was insane, never seen an 18m+ jump live before and then along come two in a night.

Stowers, Gaitlin, Pichardo and Perkovic all done the buisness but Aman, Aregawi and Lisek really let me down.

Top of the table so I'm happy out!:p

Kiprop asked for that pace, so they all knew.

That's true. I'm sure he knew what the rabbits had been asked to do but Hassan asked for 62s/64s for the first two laps in the women's 15 and I think they asked for approx 60s laps in the 3k but no one went with that.

The start just looked a bit ferocious to me (and I haven't watched it back). Som really had to sprint to get to the front, and Aman was nowhere.
Having said that, he did look like he was working harder than he should have been from the start, so I wonder if there's another explanation for his race. He did move training groups earlier this year.
    That's me.

Well, the Barr selection was a really good call.

The only choice of mine who I thought underperformed, apart from possibly Kiprop, was Ruth Beitia. And I thought Ayalew was a very solid choice in the 3k sc, thwarted only by a 36-second pb by the pacemaker!

    League standings after first round:

Second round transfers need to be completed by 9am tomorrow so get busy.
Only Aregawi and Hassan are down for both meets, hard to believe they will compete.

Struggled to pick a team for tomorrow. No real single standout athletes and a load of Kenyans so not fully confident in my picks

Some great head to head matchups though so it should be a crackling meet!

Was that Cram on Eurosport that said 'whatever Gatlin is doing he should keep it secret.'

Liking your tactic of picking two HJers Sacksian, regretting not doing the same myself now. One of them is bound:rolleyes: to take down the meeting record so 40 points is nearly certain.

Only 3 teams entered this week!

Shamelessly stole the idea from what Track Fairies on Tour did in the 400mh in Doha! Didn't cop on that you could do that before then.

Need to improve my knowledge of field events to do well here.
Picked Rypakova instead of Ibarguen in W-TJ (WTF).
Went for Captain Barshim in HJ - doubling up is a good idea.
Hope no one picked his brother Barsham !
