Feral Thugs Welcome tourists

A group of 8 people attacked American tourists, robbing and beating them.

One man was taken in for questioning and released without charge.

    http://www.independent.ie/irish-news/us-tourist-attacked-in-dublin-park-eight-youths-punched-and-kicked-me-and-my-girlfriend-31211989.html

Now you know as well as I do it's probably the same little ****ers hanging around the park the whole time. I've seen it in my own area. Packs of feral youths roaming the streets in gangs.

What are we going to do about it? All the parents can't be sitting glued to X-factor oblivious to where little Jimmy and his mates are.

    Borstals? Fines for the parents?

Have a police investigation, and punish the culprits appropriately if they're caught. Community service would probably be useful if they don't have many previous convictions.

Well the police investigation worked out well

    1/8 questioned
    released without charge

What's the betting if I head down to the park later 8/8 will be present with their dutch gold?

Maybe we need more big brother style cameras. Although the animals that attacked that other boy were on camera and have yet to be charged??

eugenics and mandatory abortion for certain sections of society and for these little skanks chop their hands off

I don't know really. It might be a good idea to let the police go there to check. If there are any eyewitnesses they might be able to identify them.
If not, there's not much that can really be done. CCTV doesn't seem very useful for giving enough detail to recognise someone's face.
Realistically no-one will probably be convicted. At least incidents like this are rare.

They'd only been in the country a few hours. I cringe/despair when I think of tourists being exposed to our feral wildlife. When is anything going to be done to properly put an end to this kind of ****e?

I've begun to tell those friends from abroad to give Dublin a skip and head West or North when they visit. Stay a day or two in the capital if you must when flying in or flying out, wander around Trinity and knock up to Kildare street and have an amble around Grafton St and then leave.
Dublin has become an embarrasment of a city, it's just another homogenized UK Highstreet with no Irish character to it anyway but with an increecing degree of menace, drunkenness and casual violence.

Nearly as bad as the young American financial worker with his life ahead of him who was crippled for life on Aston Quay a couple of years back an hour and a half after getting off the plane.

But this, of course, is regular in all cities according to those that defend the state of Dublin City Center.

No police, no justice system and thugs everywhere. Lovely.

Our Lord Mayor was interviewed on O'Connell Street for Primetime about the situation in the city center recently and he did not seem to see an issue with all the junkies even as they were filming.

That is what you are dealing with. That is the standard for Ireland's capital city.

It's a kip by design. It does not have to be the way it is. The removal of the meth clinics and proper policing would transform a lot of the problems. It won't solve every problem though.

People always get upset when they hear that someone was released without charge. They don't seem to understand that charges tend to come later, as in after an investigation.

Or how about the ones carrying knives get locked up for a manditory 5 years for brandishing a deadly weapon.Fine the useless bloody parents if theyre under 18 because theyre complete inability to raise an unferal child shouldnt be my financial responsibility. I am f*cking sick to death of this BS going on on our streets today. Scumbags and junkies think they bloody own the place, acting like filth then whinging to the state for everything under the sun.

I swear to god I love to send these little brats to an old disused fca barricks somewhere remote in December and have them breaking rocks 12 hours a day.

How much later? We're still waiting on the scum that were on video attacking that Autistic chap to be charged. Meanwhile the feral scum roam the street, unhindered.

The wheels of justice need to move quicker.

not really i was implying that the reason you wont get any fantastic footballers or whatever from this section of this generation is because they have been brought up on a diet of instant gratification and f*cking x factor star celebrity poison, hard work effort and determination are kryptonite to these animals so when they throw their ipods out of their pram kick of ar generally act like scum there is a raft of ready made excuses to deflect blame from anyone but themselves or what passes for their parents

Still not quite getting you there. boss.

Is it that the lower classes don't produce footballers these days because of X Factor and heroin?

Did you ever think of lecturing in sociology?

A lifetime to look forward to of social welfare payments, free accommodation and free health care like their fathers kinda kills off any ambition to "make it". The genuinely impoverished kids of the favelas have nothing, no safety net so maybe they want it more.

Should be banish them to a favela in the Wickow mountains? Here's how the dutch dealt with some of theirs.

Almere is making plans to banish persistent troublemakers to special housing areas on the edge of the city,

A problem family from Amsterdam Noord has been evicted from its home and moved to a new dwelling, constructed out of containers on a piece of wasteland to the east of the city. More removals will take place in the coming years,

It's embarrassing. We are marketed abroad as "the friendliest and most welcoming people in the world" which is a load of arse. Stories like these just make me embarrassed and angry that nothing is being done about anti-social behaviour in Dublin.

O'Connell St - I don't think I have to say much about it. It's actually sad that Daniel O'Connell's name is attached to such a steaming kip of junkies.

Westmoreland St - you actually wouldn't think that one of Dublin CC's largest Garda stations is a two minute walk away. It's just open drug dealing, drunkeness and begging every single day. As the street which connects south side and north side, it's just an embarrassment.

Dame St - over the last few months "gay bashing" has made a comeback. Groups of young scumbags hanging around Dublin Castle and Crane Lane waiting for the clubs to finish so they can punch a few gays and feel good about themselves.

It's the same story over and over again, every single year. There is a total lack of visible Garda presence in Dublin, day and night. The judicial system is a joke. Heaven forbid you label an import as being garlic, then the law suddenly applies to you above other people. A new prison facility is needed. I'd rather pay my taxes to make sure criminals actually get sentences and are off the streets than to be taxed three times over for water.

We'll be on these threads saying the exact same thing in 10 years time because nothing will be done about it.

Not at all. The FAI should explore the angle that social welfare prevents us producing top class footballers. It could be a goer.

How do you explain the rationale for robbing people then?

If it was so rosy they wouldn't need to behave like this.

I think these scumbags exist in Dublin as a sort of balancing act. You have the scumbags in suits that rob the state and then you have the scumbags in tracksuits that rob the scumbags in suits. I think it's heroin that robs the tracksuit wearing scumbags.
