Not bothering to write a full match thread.

This is a must win for both teams really. Ulster realistically need 2 wins from 2 for a home semi, but it's Munster at home and Glasgow away which is a big ask.

Munster have a home banker next week so a win today would pretty much give them the home semi.

    Prediction:

    Ulster by a score.

I fancy Ulster here, and to go on and win the competition out.

In before the cry of "tables"!
Too close to call imo, but Ulster's unbeaten home record is daunting

Looking forward to a good game. Sitting here on the couch wearing my brand new Munster hoody and trackie pants. Not overly confident of a victory from the men of the south-west, but hopeful.

I'm calling Munster for this one.

Hanrahan looks awfully pissed off to be on the bench judging by his Sky avatar there when they were showing the team line-ups.

The wife has allowed me in from the garden and has handed me a beer. Looking forward to this, best home team versus the best away team. Normally for inter pros I'd hope for 5 points for Ulster and 2 for Munster. But it's just too tight at the top now so I'm hoping for Ulster by >7. Good opportunity for nelson today with the RWC and Allen leaving.

    Cheers (opens can).

    O'Donnell off?

Hard for PJ to roll away if Murray is in the way.

Good game so far, Hurley and Payne are both running some good lines.

Anyone else think Keatley should have been penalised there?

Good attacking play from Ulster, but Munster holding them out so far.

    Good game.

Munster setting their stall out for a smash and grab win. If they can hold Ulster scoreless for the opening 20 minutes, they'll get impatient.

    Munster being extremely disciplined.

Bowe was miles ahead of where he should have been. Beautiful play to create the gap.

Ulster need to turn this great play into points.

    Thank feck for that.

    Did Henderson impede Earls?

  • Registered Users Posts: 17,075 ✭✭✭✭vienne86

Some save from Henderson there - I was sure Earls was in.

  • Registered Users Posts: 24,197 ✭✭✭✭Buer

Great effort by Earls and incredible work from Henderson. Slightly softer touch and that was a 7 pointer.

  • Registered Users Posts: 12,604 ✭✭✭✭errlloyd

Joe scmidt will love what Henderson managed there.

Some seriously tasty rugby being attempted, just some cuter execution needed by Ulster

    Did Henderson impede Earls?

No. Was very little contact at all and anything there was, was incidental.
