Right so I am 20 years old, around 6ft 1 and I only weigh 73kg. I've always struggled to gain weight. Just wondering if anybody could help me with certain foods to eat which would help me gain weight quickly or even any weight gaining supplements. Feedback would be appreciated cheers

    You're not eating enough.

    What's a typical day's food like?

Peanut butter and whole milk are calorie and protein dense. Forget weight gaining supplements, just get some ordinary protein powder and add some oats for carbs.

You need to physically eat more food though, so just focus on lots of calories and protein.

As above, peanut butter is great. Nuts in general are high in calorie content, cheese too. Smoother what you can in olive oil (or similar).
Smoothies; get everything in there - oats, honey, ice cream, peanut butter. A decent smoothie could approach 1000 calories!

That there is the problem. I don't eat enough meals everyday and I often skip breakfast. I'm also restricted in terms of a budget for food as I am a student.

I've been trying a new shake recently, try to have at least 2 of them everyday - milk, scoop of protein, oats and peanut butter. Actually tastes lovely!

Skipping breakfast doesn't maatter. Unless, that is, you end up eating less overall because of it, which is likely to be the case.

Find foods high in fat. You need calories. Gram for gram, fat has roughly 9 calories, compared to carbs and protein which are about 4. Buy nuts, buy oil, put nuts and oil on everything. Easy extra calories without much effort.

Find out how many calories you need to eat per day to gain weight and make sure to actually count the calories so you know you're hitting your goals each day. Once you've hit your calories for the day, eat even more.
