Be grand, just make up the answers :D

I got a garbled phone call of shouts and roars, from which I made out a cow had broken out somewhere behind a cottage.
Took five of us and over two hours to get her in. I am pooped, running over wet Leitrim land into the sun is not a fun pastime. Especially when you're in jeans and runners!

Rushes, hate running through these. And then in a neighbours field a few years ago I found an old flax hole, was up above my waste in a second.

The rushes weren't too bad but the field was rather pockmarked with the cows. Plus avoiding a rather nifty moving bull and a hape of cows and calves while we rounded all up to bring the cow in.
Census guy arrived at the house just as we traipsed in from the field, looking for all the world like a gang of gypsies covered in muck and all of us with big sticks. He muttered something and got in the car and left. :pac:

    Sister brought them home.
Couldn't believe strawberries were out already. They sold out fairly quick.
Not like them imported tasteless supermarket ones.

Being driven daft trying to identify a weird bird call I kept hearing earlier. Not helped by the fact that Dad couldn't hear it so thought I was hearing things!

Google tells me it's a grasshopper warbler, sounded like a miniature, high-pitched security alarm :pac::D
