Got a call from eldests lads school today that he cut his fingers and to collect him. He sliced 2 of his fingers with a marking knife in woodwork:eek:. They bandaged him up and principal met me at door when I went in, explained everything to me. His teacher rang me twice this afternoon to see how he is. Bleeding has stopped. Afraid to go near plasters in case the wounds open again. Never a dull moment.

This happened to my lad once, The teacher took him to the doctor who glued it.
    It was fine after.

    How's he today Whelan?
I remember a girl was working with a chisel in woodwork one day and managed to slit her wrist right open  A lad put pressure on it and held it up in the air to slow the bleeding until the ambulance came.
Same lad is now studying veterinary today in Budapest, I used to give him grinds :D

Just brought him to doctor. Only opened bandages this morning. Lump out of top of one of the fingers. They put steri strips on it. Will take time for them to heal. Lucky it's his right hand and he's left handed.
