I've named a few already - Joel, Nick, Marc. Others that immediately spring to mind - Eileen, Aaron, Adjoa, Harry, Jade, Kieran. I didn't like many of those but at leats they were entertaining in some shape or form. For example, think of Chloe, some people thought for the first week or so that her and Harriet were the same person because they did so little.

I don't particularly find Simon extrovert. He's camp alright but that's hardly enough to carry him through.

He has just finished a basic udergraduate degree that most finish when they are 21/22. I understand he repeated years but thats beside the point. He is awaiting results for said degree which happens to be in science discipline. That does not make him a scientist!! Someone with a BA in economics or a BA in Philosophy isn't an economist or a philosopher, respectively.

You earn such titles through further study and research work, post grads, doctorates, career work, achievments etc in your field.

His job is essentially lab technician for a drug company, pending his results. Good job but nowhere near a position to call himself a scientist!

The cheek to troll someone on the internet and say he hopes they get cancer because he was told where to go is baffling!!

I am judging him on the fact he claims he is a scientist. If you can't see the point I am making, I am at a loss as how to explain it to you!

It's been online on that blog since 2nd June so I don't think anybody cares bar UCM. There is nothing there to prove that the account actually is Marc I'd imagine or someone tabloid would have picked it up weeks ago.

I've never heard Marc claim to be Stephen Hawking.

As others have said, the vendetta is getting tiring now.

How about we round up everyone who has ever lied on their CV or embellished their achievements and burn them at the stake!?

Its borderline obsession at this stage. We get it you do not like the man. Im starting to think he did something to you in real life.

Marc has saved this series and is the reason people are watching this show again. I wish him all the best.

It's bordering on the ridiculous today tbh. The lad is Satan because he apparently embellished his achievements. However, he actually didn't really as the definition of a scientist above proves!

Fair enough the definition does cover him but only to a point:

"a person who is trained in science and whose job involves doing scientific research or solving scientific problems"

I still wouldn't classify him as a scientist!

Its not a vendetta!! I don't like the guys behaviour! This is a thread about te behaviour of contestants!

I came across the article which is all over another BB forum (UK one) at the minute and people are discussing it so I thought it was worth posting just like others posted about Chloe's taxi incident, her father, Harri's sex channel, Simons history with not paying people and Danny hanhging out with a few reality stars.

I think some posters may be interested, but a few of you aren't fair enough.

If the article is genuine, why haven't a tabloid picked it up? It's been online three weeks now. They obviously have concerns about its authenticity IMO. That cna be the only reason it hasn't appeared in print.

You're entitled to not classify him as a scientist but you're only doing so because it suits your ridiculous argument. The Oxford English description of a scientist classifies him as one so that's good enough for me.

As for disagreeing with what you say, I don't disagree with "everything" you say. That's a bit of an exaggeration. I do disagree with your apparent personal vendetta against the one character who saved the show this year though. Like him or loathe him, alot of people agree.

By the way, why don't you go through all the contestants now and how they lied on their VTs? Some are totally the opposite of what they sold themselves as.

This sums up my feelings. Nearly all of the disputes and leaving cert essays on this thread have been the result of the, in my opinion, overly negative reaction to Marc by UCM.
I don't have a problem with anyone disliking Marc - or indeed ANY of the housemates but when the agenda is pushed over and over and over again it becomes, tedious, tiresome and boring.
A lot of it is incredibly nasty too I might say.

In fairness I retract my comment saying it definitely is him as it may not be him at all so I apologise for that. My comment was on the article and if it isn't him the woman is a pretty screwed up! I was only going by the article.

Anyway, I wish I hadnt bothered now!!

I am taking a Mark moratorium for a while!!

Marc has definitely added to the shows watchability this year, no doubt about it. But he's still not a nice person imo. However I don't know if that's the real Marc or the Marc the producers want us to see. I'm convinced that Marc has been head hunted to appear rather than having auditioned like the other contestants. I think he'll be saved until the end. I think he's being told how to behave and who to target. It's scripted reality. And that's fine when it's known but when it's a reality show it's not.

Because now I know what the nominations are going to be tonight so there's less point in watching.

I follow on fb and it personally doesn't spoil it for me and often creates anticipation for the upcoming show. Each to there own though and if its not on BBOTS or BB it will be spoiler ed. The nominations were shown on BOTS and are fair game for discussion

Totally agree. He's been head-hunted and told by producers to s***stir. That Beta Beta task only happened because he was in the house. On BOTS aswell Rylan actually said that people were writing to him on Twitter asking had Marc been put into the house intentionally by producers to act up and cause chaos which Rylan obviously denied. When he went in first the HMs were all saying how one minute he's nice and you can talk away to him and then the next he's really offensive and being a ****.
