    Hi,

I want to move a table and its chart into a new excel sheet. How do I do this so that it keeps the original format/function

ie in the pasted table/chart, if I change a number in the table, it will change in the chart (like the original)

I've tried paste special > MS worksheet object and this works fine until I double click on a cell and it links to the old table

yes formula's and stuff may link back to the original sheet,

You could copy the entire sheet - right click on the tab at bottom and move/copy , create a copy - again problems if you link to stuff on another sheet , which will now be in the original file

Might be easier to just make a copy of the excel file itself and then make your changes?
