Looking for someone to help with some system automation setup

hi,
I am looking for a person with brilliant computer technical skills to help build small remote trigger systems using something like Raspberry Pi or old Mac Minis. So Python or something.

This is paid for work!

We need several remote trigger systems in place soon that will trigger an on/off switch based on certain criteria.

You must have super computing skills, networking skills and hardware skills.

Hmm, not any of the things you request but...

You're describing a network controlled relay board with some local input connections for triggering (analogue or digital). Unless it's needing processor intense optical or audio data locally processed?

Not exactly rare, depending on how much power needs to be switched, and should be possible for many industrial engineers.
Certainly wouldn't use a mac mini or pi, if you wanted something small, cheap and reliable.

And I'm not an industrial engineer, but am going to risk suggesting...

Hi, Thanks for your response.
yea, pretty much sounds about right. This is to trigger a vending type machine so not really a power switch. Will know shortly what interface the machines have. The computer geek in me saw a Pi acting as the switch with the option of expanding functionality at later stage.
