Fishy Donedeal Text...

Just received a strange text about an ad I have on Dondeal.

The text has no number what so ever and the name that comes up is 'Lampard'?

The text reads: ''Is your Musical/education on donedeal still up for sale? what's it's condition/final price? Please reply ONLY to my email [SNIP], Thanks''.

Haven't replied and won't be either!

Don't engage them. I met a similar potential buyer last year and they only contacted by email. After a few replies and they agreed on a fee for my item I got a standardised email written in broken English asking for PayPal details to complete the purchase. I replied saying no way and I'd meet them, they never got back to me. It arose my suspicions and I contacted done deal about it. Don't respond to them is my advice.

Well thanks for letting us know.

Honestly, was there a need to start a thread about this? It's clearly a spam/scam text. When you place an item for sale it's to be expected these days.
