Renting in Dromod / Carrick / Mohill

    Where is the best place to find rented accommodation in these areas? Any auctioneers who are particularly good?

    rent.ie or daft.ie (often same ads anyway).

    Its better to rent privately in these areas, as the auctioneer just add 30-50 Euro per month on the rent and do nothing for it.

    You will get a quicker response from reporting maintenance issues to a private landlord than an auctioneer trust me. And you will be more likely to get your full deposit back too.

    The Leitrim Observer isn't worth looking in, as there aren't many ads; and unlike rent.ie they never quote prices to get you to ring asking; wasting your time.

    Shannon Court in Carrick is good, avoid Lis Cara estate.
