I have a christening in the morning. Thankfully I'm just in the audience, so my red eyes shan't matter.

    What's your excuse?

Drank 2 bottles of 14% Red.

    So hungover in the morn.

In a way, I should trek the kids into mass. just to keep things right & so on....

    A shure, maybe next week...

Do Not Nap if you want to sleep at night!

2 bottles? That's one-third the blood volume of Christ himself.

Impressive. I think you've done more than your sacramental duties to be fair.

As a nightbird, I consider this still night time. I honestly can't remember a time I was asleep this early on a Sunday morn. I usually start thinking about bed around 4 or 5. It's just the way I roll.

3pm, all baptisms occur at crucifixion-time in this parish.

I have three cans in the fridge and a bottle of Powers in the cupboard. Might just about make it...

Had raw onions earlier and after losing one of my closest friends who didn't have the decency to discuss the decision to end the friendship-so eh I've unfriended him on fb.

Hmm, you may just about make it but that's a pretty depleted arsenal. I have a bottle of Jameson, bag of ice and 2 bottles of ginger ale, but that will see me through until maybe 5 a.m.

There is somewhere in this house a bottle of wine with a best before date (yes, wine with a best before date) of 2009. The offie opens at 12.30pm, and I reckon I can bridge the intervening gap with an unopened can of Heineken, circa 2005, which my brother uses as a door-stop.

My God; I just might make it. So Help Me God.

Do it. Last time I went into a church was for a similar event (wedding) after spending the entire night beforehand up partying and drinking. It was a surreal and worthwhile experience. The whole church going thing makes way more sense when your in that frame of mind. Just keep it together

I've been up since around midday English time, after barely sleeping Friday night.

Left New York at 11am local time, flew to Atlanta, then to Amsterdam where I am now, waiting a few more hours for a flight home. Fúcking shattered.
