I loved the original RDR so much....but I hate the thought of going back to play it now as I'd have to kill Dutch in the end

Reading in the film thread some guy wanted the money he paid to go see H20 back as the new Halloween had written it out of history. Just deal with it that way.....it never happened if you say so.

Also Unforgiven is the greatest western ever, after this.

Can't argue with you there........ Unforgiven was an amazing movie.

It always makes me laugh when I hear movie noobs think Gran Torino was a badass film

Go back to any Western staring Clint Eastwood...and it makes Gran Torino look tepid

But enough of the past...I've seen all the old movies

I'm hoping that RDR2 creates a new genre of the Western

Being back the Western.....in a way that appeals to 2018 audiences

Some badass Westerns based on RDR2 would be s welcome relief from the sh!te movies of the past 10 years.

I have a good feeling that this RDR2 game will introduce a new Buffalo Bill or Clint Eastwood or John Wayne ....And will reinvigorate the Western genre.

And about time if you ask me.

Sick of seen seeing ****e movies about Middle American teens ..,,give me a good old fashioned Western any day of the week

No more sh!te teen movies.........a good old fashioned manly Western is hopefully in the works.

Not expecting Rockstar Games to release it....but hopefully another creative mind picks up on the way the winds are flowing

In a world of rubbish teen movies.... hopefully RDR2 brings back the manly Western

Bring on the old Western revival...... movies that grown men can love

Sick of the ****e Hollywood has put our for the past 20 years

Not interested in some Middle American drama about teens in love

For too long..... Hollywood has pumped out crap Teen romance movies

Bring back the Western in all its glory........ hopefully in 2019 ....a Western appears that grown men can enjoy

I'd recommend Bone Tomahawk too. Features a great Kurt Russell beard as a bonus.

    I am deep into the
    Epilogue(s)
and am just loving it. I honestly don't want it to end.

    This game...

Finally rolled the credits on this last night, nearly 3 weeks later :D An absolute masterpiece & stone cold classic, no other way to describe it. This is the benchmark for open world games from now on as far as I'm concerned. The Epilogue could have had an hour or 2 shaved off but it built up to a great finale.

    Epilogue Part 2 ending spoiler
How ****ing epic was that gun fight up through the mountains when John had to go on alone after Sadie & Charles were both injured!? The music, the tension, the combat...a brilliant bad ass way to close the game out (I must have put 16 bullets in each guy on the way up, just kept reloading dead eye with tonics :D). Would have liked to give Micah a full clip of each but only managed a few rounds before the scene kicked in

These scenes mean a lot more than the first time around. They did a good job tying it all together.

Haven't been able to play that much this week, or really since I finished the main game but got on for an hour today. Went back doing a few sidequests that I had neglected before finishing.
There's one way up north where Arthur teaches a girl how to hunt, I completed the first part but then went back as John and she was dead!

Anyone know if that's because I left it too long? Or is there a different outcome if I complete it prior to the Epilogue....

You left it too long most if not all the side quest are time sensitive. When the next chapter starts most of them will disappear. I completed that quest,
must go check if she is still alive.

Get different endings depending on how you play the game

Does that mean different missions too?

What chapter spoilers are we talking here, just so I know if I can watch it!

Chapter 4 at least. Some spoilers for the whole story ending too but they're nothing huge or blatant overall and some lines you may not catch or understand their significance if you heard them.

I don't know if there's any missions for playing dishonourably but I think some of the side quests only unlock in the later game if you have high honour.

Not entirely sure it that's true though.

R* even let them use game footage this week :D

I'd hold off if you are still on chapter 4 ish it does have a spoiler.

Not sure just know there are different endings if you have a
    high or low moral rating
3 different endings 2 if you help John and 1 if you go after the cash

Yeah, there's two related side missions in chapter 6 that are only available if you have high honour. There aren't any for having low honour.

Is it high honor at the time, and what constitutes high honor.

So can I continue to be a total fecker in Chapter 2, you know get my psycho tendencies sorted, before getting all morally minded?

You can farm it. Greet people and throw fish back into the river gives you honour.

Yes I know that, just wondering if I need to worry about it at all until Ch 6? I know the bonus for high morals (discounts etc) but to be honest it really doesn't seem worth it to basically change the whole point of the game just to save a few quid on a horse when they are roaming about free anyway.

You could create 2 save one good and one bad

You can definitely turn good in chapter 6. In fact, the story kinda pushes you to do just that.

I tried going for high honour from the start, very hard as story missions auto have me negative. Finally got full high honour in chapter 6. Can't wait but to make a save and murder the whole of black water, give enough something proper to complain about.
