After yo-yoing back and forth between Kane and Hazard all week, I have it on Kane and think I'll stick with that.

Considering Rooney, has great record v City...why the love in for Kane?.....are Villa that brutal at the back?

I've flip flopped. Giving the armband to Hazard I think.

Yeah had it on him as well but then thought Burnley are tough to play at their home stadium. The big clubs struggle when they go to the cramped conditions on the pitch and poor facilities! Look at spurs just last week!

I'm torn 3 ways! Kane, Hazard, Aguero. Hazard is really only one on form so my head says him, my gut is stuck on Aguero and Kane who must be due a goal or 2, especially Kun . The sooner it's 11:31 the better.

are Villa that brutal at the back?

They've conceeded 3 in their last 2 games, and Sherwood has said they're not good at grinding out results, so have to go for wins, menaing they will probably conceed a lot too.

Lads am I really safe with Kane (Captain)?

My last 3 picks were Agüero - Agüero - Kane for a total 6 pts return  ... So don't have the singlest clue now...

    - edit -
    Just saw that
Sergio Aguero has five goals in six league games against Manchester United.
Would I be that mad to...

Going Kane means it really doesn't matter what he does as his captaincy is going to be around 50% and probably a good bit higher if you are at the top end of things.

But if he blanks the other 50% will make up ground on you - be interesting to see the captain stats for this week - I have no idea where they come from

I don't fully agree. It doesn't matter as much as last GW for example when some people got over 40 pts for their captain but in a single GW it still does matter. I would have made significant ground uprankings had I picked a good captain in both GW29 & 30. Instead I stagnated and got burnt last week. My believed good overall squad saved me but I can't hope, for that every single week.

Anyway, left it on Kane because
However, Aguero has only netted three times in his last 12 top-flight appearances - with two of those goals penalties.

    It's gotta be Kane.

Villa are a shambles at the back and Spurs need the win desperately.

I could see that ending 4-2 Spurs or something.

Thats not a given outside of the Kane the captain selection seems very wide it would be pretty unlucky if Kane was the only one who blanked!

Last week was different as there was no standout captain pick like this week where, at least at the top, over half are likely to have him as captain obviously this week its not a total landslide like we have seen in the past but you are still really just going to along with the wave of Kane owners whichever way it goes. I doubt he will be the highest scoring player this week but the amount of people who captain a player who scores significantly more than him will be low.

Was going to go for Kane but decided to have a gamble this week..

    Raheem I choose you.

Oooh thats a nice little punt. Can see him doing some damage alright. I hope for your sake he isn't playing at the back again!

Always like captaining a player who's playing in the last game too. Against a poor Newcastle side and with a point to prove thought it was a decent shot. As you say hopefully he doesn't play in defence!

Could see them scoring a few. Sterling is definitely on my WC shortlist for the DGW.

This will pay off if Ibe returns on the right hand side for Pool, freeing Sterling and stretching Newcastle beyond their defensive means. Could be a backlash type of game from Pool and Newcastle are not exactly fighting for their lives. Which is all well and good but Sterling is not a great finisher yet, he wont score more than Kane this week.

Why was I asking ? Of course I wasn't safe and here goes my 4th epic captain fail in a row  :pac:...

But let's try to analyse things with a coold head and get a bit of new ambition/hope.

I did my "homeworks" and the flair was there (and almost back)

For the rest of the season I'm just throwing the captaincy on random players in my team like Chadli, Bolasie or Terry. They've as much chance of doing well as the main candidates like Kane, Hazard, Rooney etc
