How to get a very cheap ps4!

For someone in the market for a new ps4 I've been doing a lot of research into it. Argos currently have it for 399 with bloodborne and the order 1886. If you buy the PS3 and take the two games to cex they'll give you 70 for them. Brand new ps4 with 500gb for 330 seems like a bargain to me!

To be honest I recently took the plunge for a PS and had the PS3 v PS4 debate. The thing is the console is only one part of the equation. The price of games for the PS4 are brutal, €50/60 each whereas l've been able to buy a load of games for the PS3 for less than €10 each. l went PS3 and have no regrets on that.

regret buying my ps4, after a month i plugged in my ps3 again,played ten mins of gta then i got the yellow light of death.
game selection shelves is whack compared to the ps3 selection.

PS3 is the real bargain alright. In fairness its possible to pick-up games for 30-40 for PS4 now, I just finished AC4 which I got for like 30 euro. At the end of the day its the same story as before, the ps2 had a raft of brilliant games and the ps3 took a few years to get going.

On the other hand, plenty of people have finished out most of what they want on PS3, and there are enough good games on PS4 to make it worth it now. €330 is a good price for a PS4, and plenty of people would happy to flog bloodborne and the order and just get a copy of COD/Fifa/Destiny and play that away.

If you really want budget gaming the PC is the best bet, just wait for a Steam sale and you'll be sorted for a loooong time.

Selling Bloodborne would be a big mistake.

That's one of the reasons to get a PS4.

Your PS3 must have been angry with you lol for abandoning it for a whole month. It said you forgot about me so you can feck of and play that other machine now. PS2s used to do this too when people upgraded to the PS3.

haha,fact, and i was contemplating trading it in against the ps4 :0 :0

its like there is a breakdown sensor on it that sony can flick whenever a new model comes out.. :eek:

Buy the PS4 and trade in the 2 free games you get in CEX on Liffey Street and they will give you €70 and then the PS4 works out at €330.

I just bought a ps4 on adverts yesterday 360 with Fifa 15 and two controllers. Not sure if it was that good a deal. Anyhow. Xtravision tallaght, you can get unlimited game and movie rentals for 15 euro a month. You can only get one game at a time and movie and keep them as long as you like. Saves having to buy games. Hope this helps someone

Still i never get the point of theses deals when people say you get the console for €330 with after trading in both games. Like what are you going to play on the PS4 after trading the games in ? You will have to use that 70 euros you got for said games on buying games !!!!

I wonder about people some times ......

That's actually not a bad deal, especially no time limit on a game.

That's incorrect. I paid €20 in Xtravision for a 30 day pass. You can get one game and one film out at a time but only keep them for two nights.

I've since been told PS4 games are NOT included in these bundles. Either are Xbox One. No current generation games is what I was told.

I complained to the store manager and am still waiting for his response. I also asked Xtravison to confirm the terms and conditions on Twitter but no response received.

I am staying with PS3 until next iteration of PS4 comes out, second iteration of PS3 was much nicer than the launch version, but more importantly PS3 is now my main media centre, plays movies, home videos, photos etx stuff from NAS box nicely. I hope Sony will eventually add all the functionality they took out by next iteration.

Different deal, just checked on Facebook and they've called it xtra-club and it is €14.99, includes ps4 and Xbox one games.

I was in Gamestop yesterday and the new PS4 releases were 74.99 :eek:
Crazy money for a game ,I know they are available a good bit cheaper online but there were people still buying them at that price.

I bought a RGH Xbox 360 for less than 75 euro a few years back.
