Fractured patella!

    Hi guys,
    Last week I had an awkward fall, landing on my knee, fracturing my patella. Luckily I went for an operation 3 days ago, doctor pinned the bones back together, put me in a cast and now I can already see some huge improvement, and hopefully will be able to walk again soon.

    I have a job lined up abroad, early next month, and I'm hoping to be fully recovered by then. The doctor said that it could take about 6 weeks.

    Has anyone ever had this surgery before, and how long did it take to recover?
