Food sensitivity/allergy testing

Can anyone recommend somewhere in Dublin to get testing for this? I've been told there are a lot of frauds out there and I'm aware that a lot of it is not an exact science. I think I might have a mild wheat sensitivity and while the obvious answer is to just cut in out I'm interested in doing some tests to see what I should or shouldn't be eating.

I was looking into doing something like this myself recently, I was in Boots and saw they had advertised for food intolerance testing so I enquired about it and think prices started at around €140 and upwards then.

Was that a self testing kit or do they do the work?

No it wasn't self testing, I didn't go for it in the end, but think they take a blood sample and test it and see what foods you are allergic to - depending on how much you pay will depend on how many food types they test, not sure how long it takes to get the results back though

I'm in the same boat. I hear these guys advertise on the radio: http://www.fitzwilliamfoodtest.com/ - are they any good or are there others better recommended?

They are all complete bs. What has always worked best is an elimination diet (for about a month) and then adding foods back in one thing every three days. Have a look at the elimination/provocation protocol
