They did mention in the initial email that it may take several weeks to get through all the applicants - it has only really been 8 working days since the deadline. I'm not expecting to hear anything until next week at the very earliest

Just got a call for 1st round interviews for Tuesday 28th? Anyone else hear anything.? Or know what to expect at this interview.?

Same here, got a call for the interviews today! I'm on Thursday. Not sure what to expect, but was told it was under 30 minutes. Will look through some old threads here to see if there's any questions.

For me I was very happy the way it went but the numbers are going to be slashed dramatically for the next round so could go either way so it's anyone's guess good luck tomorrow

Yeah I thought it went well too. Nothing unexpected came up. Will be two weeks before we hear apparently. Like Dbooks said hard to know what way it will go!

I've my interview tomorrow too. I've a degree in aviation management so should be able to talk around that hopefully

Did they ask many questions based on what you put down on your application?

They basically asked you to introduce yourself, then why you applied, and the rest of the questions are all about examples of leadership from your work/college. It takes about 30/35 mins. There are two interviewers who take turns in asking questions. They listen very carefully to what you say, and make notes, and when you mention something interesting they will ask you to expand.

I had an interview for this last week too. I think it went ok but will know in the next week or two for definite!

Did everyone have two people interview them? They seemed to have a few rooms on the go but I noticed there was only one interviewer in some of them.

I had two people interview me. A lady from the recruitment company asking competency based questions and a guy from the DAA asking more specifically about the company.

I only had one interviewer from DAA but there were 2 sets of interviews running side by side so it's anyone guess how many were interviewed & how many of going through. I do know that there are 6-8 positions at the end of it....

I think there were over 1200 applicants Dbooks, but like you said, it's anyones guess as to how many progress from each round etc. With only 6-8 jobs competition will high!

I had two last week, one lady from the recruitment company, and a gentleman from daa HR. Both were very nice! I was told we will find out next week. Best of luck everyone! 1200 applications seems to be the norm every year.

I gave an interview at DAA for graduate program 2015. I am looking for IT field. It was a competency based interview.
Has any of you given interviews for IT roles at DAA ???
What kind of questions they asked in assessment round ?? Any idea how many rounds of interviews will be their ???

After this as far as I know there is an assessment center and then a final round of interviews.

Well, the results of the competency interview will be declared in 10 days from the date of interview, if thats what you were asking.

Yeah if you mean after the online tests I never heard anything after that

Yeah! It said in the email they had to be done by 18.00 on Friday the 10th, I did them on the Thursday. I'd rather just get a no than not hear anything at all you know.. Best of luck to the rest of you's though

Friend of mine had a phone call earlier to say they got through to next round. I haven't heard anything. Anyone else had contact today?

Friend just told me they are in for one on Tuesday 2nd June. I'm thinking I would have heard by now if I had been successful. Pity, wonder how many they have taken to assessment centre stage.

Yeah, no phone call today, they must have informed everyone by now Pity! Not sure how many they are taking...at this stage I'd say it's a small number if they only have 6/8 positions going. There's another round after the assessment centre too, a final interview.

I'm afraid i'm in the same situation - I interviewed on 29th of April & have yet to hear back.

I interviewed on April 30th, was told that the following week (May 4th to 8th) would be more interviews, so not to expect to hear back until between May 11 to 22...not looking good now!
