Next up we return to Tullamore, the venue where last year in dramatic fashion with a superb putt on the 18th, Technodub secured the half point the Reps required to win the Ryder Jug. I think everyone that day was so impressed with the cracking layout of the midlands golf course it had to be considered for a place in the regular events this year. It's bit further from Dublin this time so hopefully we can still get the great numbers we have been experiencing, it's well worth the trip.

Tee times from 10:00 AM and as usual we will get a time sheet out a week or so beforehand. The rate will be €35 for members, €40 for visitors. If you are not yet a member, you can still sign up, it's €30 for the year. Prizes galore, so if you can hang around after, there will be a few picky outs for anyone not in the winners enclosure.

I will take deposits on the day for Captains night hotel and if I have a prize belonging to you from last time, don't forget to ask me for it. Teamer messages being released shortly, so please accept or decline as appropriate.

Here are the directions to the Golf Club

    Club Website

    Here she is from above.

Great course, yet again clashed with my home society, enjoy the day folks...

Unlucky for some? 13th tee from a round with Rikand in '13...melter of a day

    Mixed emotions about this one.

I'd be still disappointed the way Jug was lost.

Tiger and I played well enough and I love course.

We never really did enough blaming after The Jug :P:D;)

No - I'm not sure what went on - I watched it , but we never got the in team plan.

In another group - a lad told a lad "just don't leave ****ing chip short"
    He left chip short :p

Tiger told me in my group - I only want to win this match on 18th - I think I wanted to kill him at that point. But he won match on 18 - now that is Tiger style.

At least them matches were on 18 ;):p

Reps - for god sake lads.

It's a great hole, the trees at the ridge just left and just right of the fairway are my biggest enemy. It was my home course for 17 years and I still couldn't figure out that tee shot. I think I seen ye that day too, I was on the 14th green and ye were in a big que on the 2nd.

You're right, think it was a 45 minute wait on the 2nd that day, by far the craziest I've witnessed, I didn't care though as I was off to Florida the next day and just delighted to get the round in, even if it was off the blues...

Not sure how the handicap system works with the society yet but just to inform the organisers that my handicap has come back from the gui.
The lovely people have given me 2 shots back :) so 7.5 is my handicap now.

Your PM quota is exceeded, not able to receive PMs, late tee time would be preferred.

Guys, please take a note of your time and make sure you are early.

The Green Fee is €35 and an extra €2 if you are entering the 2's... which pretty much everyone does. So can I please ask you to have the exact fee handy if at all possible as it can be awkward with change etc. thanks

    No problem

I'll probably 're-jig things a little and get the 3 balls out first to keep things moving as best as possible.

I'll hold off till next week though just in case anyone else has to pull

Am really looking forward to playing tullamore.
My first ever interclub match was a district final against them in courtown. Played a lady called gillian.
I will never forget that match - it took me four attempts to get the ball to stay on tge tee as we were being announced on the first tee box. Quite a crowd there too. I was petrified, but loved it

Hang on he already said he'd be in the rough. Though if I aimed for him there I'd be more likely to hit the fairway.
