Mods feel free to move if in wrong section.

I live with my 81 year old mother with stage 2 Dementia I need to get some things adapted for her. The council sent me out a form and they say they need two builders quotations for work.
What I am planing on doing is getting an upstairs shower room and downstairs bath fitted with a few grab rails (seemingly I could get all the bathroom stuff done without an occupational therapists report but if getting rails I need a report) She does find shelving hard to reach and cupboards in kitchen and bedroom but I dont think council cover that it seems its only bathrooms, grab rails and stair lifts correct me if wrong I dont want to be greedy and get a load done but I need stuff done so she wont hurt herself. I am a carer so no salary I am recently separated and husband will not be living with us but because his name is on deeds they need to see his salary. All of this is new to me so would be grateful for anyhelp. If anyone knows of any cheap (non cowboy) builder and bathroom supplier in north Dublin who does a good job at a reasonable cost would be grateful.
