    There are numerous Magazines/Journals published on the topic of history. If anyone has any recommendations for interesting articles, it might be worth posting them here.

    ==================================================
    To start off: This month's "History Today" April 2015
    Most interesting article: In ruins - about the deliberate destruction of European cultural/religious buildings as a war aim during WWI. Fore-shadowing ISIS by a century.
    Noted Book Review: "The Day Commodus killed a Rhino"- about Roman Gladiatorial games i- the whys/wherefores.

    Of additional note, the editorial echoing Snow's two cultures: Science vs Art, with the former cast as the more dogmatic, less nuanced and more prone to binary divisions of society: rather dramatically linking to a list of terrorists. Arts/History is in contrast more questioning and less prone to acceptance of simplistic world-views. As a STEM type myself, wouldn't dream to comment.
