Where to buy brain supplements?

I know the title is strange, but it's the best way for me to explain what I seek.

I live in Cork, 30 years old, and have a very stressing/logical job (software developer), with shifts up to 16 hours a day looking at code and solving logic puzzles.

As my Italian heritage commands me, I try to have a balanced diet (high of carbs and proteins, low on fat and medium on sugar), combined with 1-3 cups of coffee/tea, nothing too out of the ordinary.

Now it's one of those peak times (software releasing soon) and I feel I need more brain power.

I read up a lot of fish oils and diverse Centrum vitamins can help, but they all seem to focus on bones, skin and other "physical" targets, nothing specific towards grey matter.

Any of you can recommend anything? I do not want anything sketchy bought online or in a dark alley. I want something that most pharmacies or Boots can provide. Also, if possible, I'd rather have a supplement to take every day, instead of something intense to take upon demand (i.e. Ritalin).

    Thanks!

Grey area. Adderal is very dangerous if you have non-diagnosed learning deviciencies (i.e. ADHD), but others like L-theanine seem fine.

Would appreciate input from people who currently either.

Power naps of just 45mins 'makes memory-recall x5 times better'.
Was in de paper today. (boosts hippocampus region).

    I prefer just 6hrs at night with a 45mins siesta/powernap at 6.30pm.
Stone-age man probably didn't do just 8hrs at night, instead took series of naps, between hunting, gathering and getting Jiggy.
Lot of other mammals are big fans of the cat naps.

Yeah. that's what I do: 6-7 hours and take advantage of the lunch crash around 2 or 3pm.

Fortunately I work from home and can do this.

After a lot of research, ended up getting this:

Hopefully I'll notice something positine quickly enough

    Maybe these?

I've yet to try them myself though so I'm unable to give you any feedback.

Thanks, but I'd like to stay away from nootropics and other drugs. Only people with cognitive deficiencies should take them, and I'm not one of them (that I know of)

    PCH4 or NZT48....

On a serious note, surely these are all just magic beans. What's wrong with how us IT kids did it in the 90s.... Pizza and Coke.

The only alternative I know is something like the keto diet where increased concentration is often commented on as a side effect.

Agree keep away from pills, a seafood focused diet will provide more than enough Zinc & B vits. A basic multivitamin and good diet will cover all else.

Tai Chi, aplha meditation and diaphragmatic breathing will provide very high oxygenated blood. If you smoke, don't.
Even a slight bit of dehydration will have very significant impact on your cerebral performance. Water plenty.
Drop the EMFs and 2.4ghz pulses from the computer-mobile boxes too.

Personally I would call that balanced.
Less carbs, less sugar, more fat would be more balanced.

Adderal is a perscription drug. Not a nootropic.
Based on what you said, you are looking for a one-a-day nootropic. But you are adverse to taking one. These aren't aren't perscroiption meds, are more like vitamin/amino pills.

Spot on. Would you recommend any?

Wow I just clicked one of those links and it was almost a euro a pill lol the money that industry is making would end world hunger.

Op, vitamin pills mostly just provide a placebo effect its proven now by researchers they make no health benefits atall, you more than likely get everything you need from your diet..

People love the idea of buying a pill to make yourself better in life but keep it simple balanced diet and water is all you need and sleep well
