I have seen crowds like this in a several companies over the last 25 years in a few countries. Unless the local law and proper enforcement prevents them from what they do, they will keep on doing it.

Just got offered an interview with these, thought something seemed a bit weird about the website so I decided to try figure out exactly what the company do. Thanks for saving me time and money!

Hey, I just got a call from ace8 for an interview in Sligo Town, I am studying marketing and sales and thought this was fantastic until I just found comments about this offer.... I have a part time job right now and I don't want to give it up if I know this will be a waste of time... I'm very confused now! Has anyone else had an offer for Sligo??? I'm a bit devastated now! :-(

I interviewed with them a few months back, it was a complete waste of time! Office was in a building that looked run down and filthy, I was interviewed in a room that was decorated like a boys bedroom, complete with pool table, there was a group of guys next door doing god only knows what as every 2 mins there was cheering and shouting which the interviewer never acknowledged or apologised for, an absolute joke!

Oh! Hahaha I was lost there! Not that I remember but now that's starting to make sense, bit odd that they chose that time to do it with interviews in the next rooms

Got a call yesterday from this crowd and have an interview today needless to say I wont be going after reading this thread, glad I found it and saving money petrol and time! Just out of interest can someone post the email about their own interviews from this Claire lady?

I got the call as well yesterday, and they send the email about destination and time to confirm right?

I'm really shocked after reading these, and I'm Chinese, I actually got no information from their website at first, and I got their guidance for office direction, I saw the pics from the google map and it should be a rent place on a narrow street. And I felt more worries about this company.

So here I am.

That is what i am thinking about the location of office said in my email:

'Our office is in the same building as Global Taxis. There is a large "city house" sign on the building. The entrance to the building is through a set of brown doors. You then walk through the reception past the vending machines and the lockers to a stairway. Walk up the stairs to the first floor and our office is on the left. Do not take the first set of stairs on the right you must walk through to the back set of stairs. There are signs on the wall to follow.'

Many thanks for the tip. They were advertising on various job portals. My wife was invited for her first interview today and the second round on Friday. After reading the feedback, she is no longer interested.

Hi, I'm actually supposed to have an interview with them tomorrow and ever since I read the email with directions (which seemed a little strange) I've been deciding what to do and I was shown this. There are roughly six adverts for them on RecruitIreland and they all sound like office jobs. I'm disgusted at this. Can't believe how long this has seemed to be going on.

So disappointed. I was supposed to have an interview with these tomorrow but after reading this I won't be going. I'm studying business in college and really wanted to get some office experience this summer, even though I just found a job in a shop. I couldn't believe my luck when this crowd rang me, they really make the job sound attractive. Really disappointed, but thank you all for the warnings about your experiences.

I just received a call from a really nice woman called Nancy for ace8 media about a sales assistant job interview.. Would this be another misleading job advertisement and end up being d2d sales too?

Why do they feel the need to misadvertise these jobs ? There's bound to be some people out there who like door to door sales, why not just say what it is

Just want to thank everyone here for your comments. I had an email (which very appropriately made its way into my spam folder) from Claire offering an interview, and like others here, something didn't sit right with me so I googled, and now here I am! Good to know exactly what unpleasantness I'll be avoiding.
