    Anywhere from 1-2hrs is fine, presuming you're not supersetting your way through it and have decent rest between sets. If your goal is weight loss, strength training followed by some form of cardio is usually the way to go. Don't spend too long on cardio though, something like HIIT training is the most efficient way to burn energy in a short space of time.

    You could do a full-body workout in strength training, focusing on the main lifts eg Squats, Deadlifts and Bench and other stuff like OHP and Rows. Alternatively, you may find it better to split it up and do Squats, Deadlifts and Bench on different days and then add in other assistance work after you've done your sets for those exercises.

    Just focus on getting stronger and being in a deficit and you'll shed fat.
