Me personally if I got the hint someone was crazy (i mean unhinged) I wouldn't go near them no matter how much I wanted sex. Mmhmm, it has happened me too. I was interested in a couple of girls (not at the same time), but not a bit too attached, unintentionally, and I really didn't notice it until the very end when things went pear shaped. I tried hard after that not to let myself get too attached to anyone, if I didn't know them well and visa versa.

I fully understand, and well said. I mean, if I'm interested in someone I know, and I get the guts to tell her, I normally expect rejection, and if I am rejected, I leave it there. So far, I've been lucky that she has taken it well, but I know bloody well not to let myself get attached. Friendship is fine, and it's something I would never want to jeopardise.

It's perhaps different if it's someone I don't know well. Still, I shouldn't get attached and if I'm rejected, it's nothing lost, if I don't know her well enough. What has happened has been that we've chatted, I've got sucked in, I got my hopes up and they were dashed. Maybe she was just a bitch leading me on, or perhaps I had got too attached and scared her off. I never got explanations, or perhaps some excuse. I would never let it happen now, though. I've learned from past experiences. I hope so anyway :rolleyes:

It's not bitter at all what you've said. People might seem extremely nice in some situations, but God awful in others.
