Listen to the top podcast at 28:30 and see what you think. Anyone ever use baking soda and get the same outcome?
It sounds like BS to me but I'd love to know what people's actual experience is

Do a search on the Suppversity blog, he has done several articles on it.

If you do try to use it be careful, as it can have a pretty intense laxative effect.

Track cyclists been using it for years. Buffers lactic acid. They eat by the tablespoon. Diluted in water of course. Similar results can be gained longer term with Beta alanine.

    But it definitely 'works'.

I imagine there's quite a few sports where it could be used, strongman etc

Whilst rowing competitively I am pretty sure we tried this and other stuff - the saying 'worse it tastes' etc would apply except one was so bad you used all your energy actually trying to drink the stuff! LoL

Cake sounds good and with all these things dip the toe in before diving in! :)
