So who's in China?

I'm moving to China this summer for work. Guangzhou specifically. Just wondering what experiences people have had of living there; what you'd advise before going; great experiences and things not to me missed. Generally your overall impression of the place, and advice and suggestions for newbs. I've been living abroad for the past three years, so not a complete neophyte to life outside Ireland.
