    Hi guys, couldn't find a place to post this, but just asking any current donors, do the IBTS cover transport costs? I have to take public transport from Galway to Dublin to donate and I can't afford to do it too often.

    I seem to recall they covered taxi costs to James' for platelet donations (from elsewhere in Dublin!) but the policy may have changed

    They offer to pay for a taxi home after donation.
    Usually to a location in Dublin.

    I haven't heard of a round trip from Galway being paid for
