    Hi,

I have an old garmin nuvi 300 with a usb cable for my laptop, and I was wondering if it was possible to connect it to the computer, and get the gps data to update live on my screen as it's coming in?

I was hoping to use it with a raspberry pi computer for a project if it was possible

    Thanks

Don't think the NUVIs support live data feed. You'd need to look at a different device such as a bluetooth GPS receiver, they're little devices the size of a matchbox which will do what you're looking for.
