During the Summer I reported that Ryan Tubridy was talking gibberish about how Eurosong and the LLS should be consciously decoupled

I am glad to see sanity has prevailed. The LLS needs more of these mad showpiece farcical controversial "Did I dream that?" programmes, not less.

It's not a great way to choose a Eurovision entry but anything which shakes up the LLS is all good. Hopefully Linda Martin or Twink or Jedward make an appearance.
