I have arthritis so can't exercise as much as I would like. I walk every day and have started Kettle-Bell workouts. I used to do weight training so I know what exercises to do and so on. I need to know about weight gain with this. Since I started working out I seem to be putting on weight but my clothes don't feel tighter. I don't want to sound stupid here but is this normal? I want to lose weight, go down a dress size and tone up my physique and ease pain by mobilising and strengthening my joints. Will the weight start to decrease soon at all? I'm doing about 20 minutes of slow exercise daily.

If you're clothes don't feel anything tighter then what's the issue?

Maybe I am worried that I am getting bigger and that eventually my clothes will start to get tighter therefore putting stress on my arthritis. So I suppose it's that I would like to stop it before it gets worse if you get me. If it's just muscle I can live with it. I asked people and they say I look fine. I don't have a full length mirror so I can't say 100% the difference.
