    Hi Guys,

Just wondering where I can buy threaded inserts like the ones in the picture. Attachment not found.

I'm building a dartboard stand and want to make it as collapsable as possible, using these threaded inserts and some winged nuts maybe..?

Can these be bought as a set, or would they usually come in standard sizes?

I guess this is a good time to say im only getting into DIY very recently!

Get a length of threaded bar and wing nuts in any good hardware shop or builders suppliers and cut to length.

Yea that's a great shout, thanks for that! Saves trying to get particular lengths of thread.

Specifically regarding the inserts, would they be readily available in most spots aswell? Only reason I'm asking is I didn't know they existed until yesterday when I seem a guy working with them on a youtube video..??

So the t-nut goes into the timber, and then the length of thread or wing nuts or whatever goes into that then yea..?

Do they drill in, or would you hammer/glue them in..??

Also I'd get them handy enough in most hardware spots yea? Goodwins in Lucan?

The threaded bit goes in a pre-drilled hole and you bang the prongs on the end face into the wood. Supplier? Don't know.
