About to push the button on this Cube mtb , however can't find any reviews on it.

Has anyone got one?

For this price range ~ €1000, are there any other alternatives worth considering with the CTW scheme ?

Im no expert but I've been looking at the cubes as one option under my own CTW scheme in a few months. The basic Ltd pro got a poor review here

But one of the here major gripes, the fork is I think different on the blackline. Not sure what the other major differences are. Some other parts of the spec look pretty good, and there's a few comments online from people who are pretty happy with the pro on spite of that review,so horses for courses I guess.

Are you looking to stick to the 1k mark? From what I can see (and more knowledgeable people than I may tell you I'm wrong or right) if you go to 1200/1300 you start getting a somewhat better return.

As I said though, I'm no expert so hopefully someone can give you a more knowledgeable steer...

Many thanks tritium , I think Cube have updated the Ltd pro since that review back in 2013, the fork is now a Rock Shox Reba RL 27,5, new frame and other updates in the 2015 model. Can't find any reviews on the new model.

Will go up to around €1300 for a 27.5 hard tail, but there dosnt seem to be a lot of choice.

The Cube seems to out spec the Giant Talon 0 @ €1249 -any other options?

Have a look at the Rose count Marco solo, the sizing on the cubes is funny the frames tend to have a short top tube not particular light either for the money.

Lovely spec bike. Especially if it's your first MTB. Have ridden a few Cube hardtails and they've all been an absolute joy, some of the nicest hardtails I've ridden.

Canyon an option? Or if you can shoe horn this into your size and budget requirements it's hard to imagine a better bike:

Asked the same question 2 months ago and settled on the Cube ltd pro. I could find nothing else to beat the spec for the price even spending an extra 2/3 hundred on another brand. Only better value you'll get is if you go with Canyon or get a sales bargain. Fat blokes Felt is a steal if you can stretch to it. I was in wheelworx last week and they had a couple of very well priced felts. Carbon hardtail for 1399 and a aluminium full suspension for the same price few higher spec ones for 1500-1600. Some bargains to be had if they have your size.

Picked my cube up three weeks ago but a combination of working insane hours and being as sick as a small hospital have meant I haven't ridden it in anger yet bar chasing my kids around the garden the first day I got it! They were quite impressed though with how it wheelies and rides up and down steps and over kerbs and flower beds

Thanks Ryath - the price is right and its a good spec so I think the Cube is the one
Fat bloke - lovely bike but unfortunetly its outside my budget
