What do you do for work?

It's that question you NEED to know when when you meet someone new,"So, what do you do?"

I'm a Network Engineer. Interesting enough even if deep down I'd like to be helping people instead of Network devices, Maybe some day I'll change

Well, what do you work at? And more importantly, does it make you happy?

Do you see yourself doing it for the rest of your life?

Stuck in a mindnumbingly dull admin job that pays terribly, whilst my peers streak ahead and way beyond me and leave me in their dust. Fun times.

TV News editor. Journalist behind the tellybox.

Do I like it? Yeah it's fun. Never dull, always unpredictable. Get to go places and see things first-hand. The people are an interesting bunch.

Does it make me happy? God, I dunno. The industry itself encourages obsession and fixation on all things work-related so it's some part of my identity. I'm good at it and I've never done anything else. I might have Stockholm Syndrome.

Do you see yourself doing it for the rest of your life? Hells no. I plan on sleeping some time in the near future.

I work in mobility for an insurance company. Basically I make sure our company phones and iPads work and look after the apps on them. It's cool. I get to play with lots of toys.
